Well a friend of a friend spoke with someone close (very) to the situation and they said that it should be but couldnt/wouldn't confirm anything else - including the team (not that they had any input in that anyway) so perhaps,maybe, if we are lucky etc etc

Speedway just can't help itself - even the threads are doubling up in Premiership and Championship now

There are now more threads about the fixtures than there are confirmed fixtures

I blame Harris, Wright, King, Howarth etc for doubling up

It has been 1.5 in recent seasons

I think he can safely confirm the orders for any new equipment required

Probably works hard to scrape together the huge lump of cash he needs to equip himself for the following speedway season

Wasn't a significant part of the funding issues for Posselthwaite from the failed 'dig deep' branding launch too

8% is stated elsewhere but it seems to only relate to the Championship

As its the Premiership surely it can be on a Monday or Thursday only

I don't have specific figures but enough idea for an educated estimate that it isn't too far out

Was going off last year so granted may well be down in 2026 if its only 5. Not far off if the miracle 6th team appears KO Cup could be 4-6 plus potential of 4 play offs Worst case is 18 (5 teams 1 Cup round and no play offs) and max is 30 (6 teams and all the trimmings)

I bet they have earned double in the Prem

But they are getting 30 Premiership meetings with 4 or 5 rides per night and at twice the pay rate I'd estimate that most double uppers would lose two thirds of income but still have 75% of the cost level The net result is to leave them earning somewhere around what they could earning stacking supermarket shelves I think more would quit than carry on
