King's Lynn Stars 2020

You can be solvent & competitive.

The gap between the two clubs in terms of rider's is massive, you can't tell me Peterborough's overheads are less than King's Lynn's.

The way the teams were put together is chalk & cheese. It certainly gives the impression of caring far more for the Panthers than the Stars.

Buster owns KL though doesn't he?

Meaning he may get less watching there than he gets at Peterborough but still make more money than he would at Peterborough where he pays rent and wont get any anciliary income...

We have seen a few times how successful seasons can actually help close tracks down due to the increase in outlay not being covered by an increase in crowds, so maybe having two succesful clubs could be a step too far?

Yes Buster owns the AFA. And no doubt Lynn needs less fans to break even. But He has had his beloved Lynn for over 20 years. Buys Peterborough, and neglects (imho) Lynn. Where the loyal fans have supported his team for decades. It don't sit well with me i'm afraid..I'm probably not the only one.. I'm not blaming Peterborough or their fans. Buster made the move by himself. But If he keeps things as they are with the two teams, some Stars fans will not bother, myself included. Lynn's team selection was shocking, and i suspect a good bit cheaper too.

who knows, maybe Kings Lynn will be all car racing and Peterborough for the speedway in the future?

And no World F1 Stox Final for the AFA this year...

That must make a fair old dent in the coffers given how many attend it...

Isnt Peterborough's future destined to be an housing estate

I think you are correct Scoobydoo - 6500 new homes I seem to recall reading some 2 years ago  starting in 2023 which would give us speedway for the rest of this season and all of 2022 - Can only hope the council have a change of heart - Too good a track to lose - I was thinking of moving there until I read that news - :(

As far as I know the Council have decreed that any development at EOES  must include provision for Speedway. In the long term it would be desirable IMO for Speedway and Ice Hockey to be aligned at the same venue

4 duck eggs for Proctor today, 5 from 5 last night, when will Allitt put him out of his misery.Surely it's not doing the club or the rider himself any favours carrying on like this.

Never mind Allitt putting Proctor out of his misery , getting rid of Proctor would put the majority of the Stars fans out of there misery. The sooner the better.

No they're not. Proctor the person is a good lad & everyone would wish him well.

Proctor the rider is absolutely abysmal & needs to be gone.

Absolutely nobody is attacking the person, in sport you need to understand the difference
