Not going to make much of a difference. He is not likely going to bother the scorers. Can’t do any worse though.

That's the way:blink:

Are Poole trying to cheat again, I thought only new riders come in on 2 average, I think ritchings should  be on a 3 average

Well he's not, move on, like i said the other day, you have more things to worry about down deepest Plymouth

Poole have switched their riding order, Zach moves to 5 and Lewi to 4

Should be Kerr and cook at 3&4 and Rowe at 5 would give the team much better balance, plus Zach I don’t think is a number 5

Why not? He has been in majority of H15s this season and SH. Either Rowe or Cook at 5 would be okay imo. Plus if it doesn't work, can always change it again.

That’s my opinion he’s not at the same level as Ben Cook,Tom Brennan, from last year and many more no5 riders, let’s see how he gets on as I think he will get found out in many ht13s home and away which is something I don’t see with Anders.

He’s a temporary number seven, for Christ’s sake.😂

You wouldn’t even make a judgement call on a number one after four meetings, never mind a reserve… let alone a number seven… and a temporary one at that.😂

The absolute irony and hypocrisy of Neil Middleditch saying in this week’s Speedway Star that riders need encouragement, not criticism - or words to that effect - when they’re struggling is incredible.

Matt Marson’s a young man who deserves more than being dumped after four meetings at the expense of someone who will be replaced in 48 days.

Matt Marson is hardly a young man. His first UK season was 7 years ago and he’s sadly not progressed beyond NDL level. He’s scored 2 points from 12 races for Poole, both gifts when Barker fell at Plymouth and Kerr retired at Oxford.
This gives him a home average of zero, away of 1.33.
it was brave of him to accept the offer of a CL place, but it can’t do his confidence any good being so far off the pace. So maybe he’s relieved to be let go?

To be honest the league isn’t at the standard of having riders of Ben Cook and Tom Brennan anymore, those 2 are above the championship hence why they have moved on, I would say Sam Masters is also above the championship but perhaps doesn’t want to ride too much abroad

It's a shame that whoever thought it was a good idea to pitch last year's Cardiff GP against the opening day of the Premier League season & a full football league programme didn't have the same foresight. Madness!!

but we all knew that at the beginning of the season, it was a temporary signing?

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

I was referring to last years GP. Nobody will convince me that going head to head with the opening day of the football season didn't significantly affect the attendance.

The million or so people that attended football matches on the day of the Cardiff GP maybe? 🤔

I would suggest that there are a significant amount of fans that follow both their football and Speedway teams. Also Speedway fans who no longer have a track to attend, who usually went to Cardiff, but opted to watch their football team instead.

Just looking at some of the user names on this forum, which is a small cross section of fans, shows a few with an affinity to a football team.

Out of the small number of Speedway teams left, Manchester, Sheffield, Poole (Bournemouth) Leicester, Ipswich, Birmingham, Oxford & Plymouth had teams playing in the Premier league or EFL championship that day.

Myself, along with 5 others who always went to Cardiff opted to go to Forest instead, to watch Bournemouth. Shovvy said on here, that he did too.

I can't believe that out of that million that went to football that day, that we are the only ones that would have attended Cardiff if it was at it's traditional June/July (pre football season) date.
