Expecting far too much of Bomber he’s not a number one any more  remember how old he is as well - same with Iversen both good second strings or at best 3rd heat leader . As for how to improve the side I’ve no idea anyone that wants to race in the UK is already here so it’s carry on with the riders we have other than maybe swap the R/S but would they be any better ?Play offs are more or less gone so let’s concentrate on getting 5th place which we should do

I’m not expecting Bomber to be scoring maximums at number 1, but I at least expected him to score at least his average (6) in every meeting at 1 🤷🏻‍♂️ not 2-4 points!

but he’s not the one I’d drop anyway if we could somehow get a proper number 1 (which is unlikely)

If I’m brutally honest, NKI, Klindt and Boughen have to go. Iversen is so far over the hill now it’s a joke, and Klindt is quickly following him. Boughen, just doesn’t cut it, meetings aren’t won or lost as the RS position, but him cutting off instead of mixing it at the 1st corner isn’t doing him any good either.

1. 8.00 rider (if one makes themselves available)

2. 6.00 rider (ideally someone young, who is hungry and not just going through the motions)

3. C Harris - 6.5

4. B Cook (when fit) - 6.13

5. R Lawson - 6.76

6. J Kvech - 6.1

7. L Harrison

Total - 39.49

How can you call Iversen "over the hill" yet want to continue with Harris 🤣

They're both 42 🤪

I’m aware they’re the same age, but realistically do you think if Iversen was at reserve like Harris was he would’ve been banging in the same number of points?

Absolutely, yes.

100% Iversen would have done way better away from home than Harris at No6 too.

I just personally can’t see he would’ve done.

Don’t think Harris could’ve done a lot more:

11+1 (5) @ Oxford

3+1 (4) @BV (a track he has always maintained he doesn’t like)

11+2 (7) @ Sheffield

Averaged 6.25 from his away meetings

17+1 (6) vs Oxford

14+3 (7) vs BV

16+2 (7) vs Leicester

9 (4) vs Oxford

Averaged 9.33 from his home meetings

Combined average @ no.6 - 8.1

According to SpeedwayGB, Harris has averaged 4.21 away from his 4 meetings and 7.82 from 4 at home ,for an 8 meeting average of 6.15 this season so far. Up to and including 19th/5.?

This was from his time purely at no. 6 and includes the two K/O cup matches against Oxford

Even though he was a lap away from becoming British Champion!!

GP Rider at reserve you couldn't make it up 🤔

I guess you could say he's a reserve because of his ability & a GP rider because of his nationality.

Obviously he wouldn't be a reserve in most teams, whoever moves to 6 in the Lynn team would be a second string elsewhere.

But much more was expected of him, however he should score a bundle from reserve!

Having watched Ben’s interview on BSN last night, I’m getting some serious doubts whether he will be back in Stars colours this season. I can see something similar happening like it did with Pickering a couple of seasons ago, and Belle Vue managing to find a way to declare him in their 1-7

I have the same thoughts about Ben  unfortunately - also with Leicester winning at Ipswich last night I’d say play offs are fast becoming a distant dream for the Stars the Ko is our best chance of silverware especially with Ipswich injury problems
