Agreed I would pick Lawson out of the three he doesn't miss many matches and although he won't shoot the lights out can be relied upon to deliver a 7-8 point average over the season.

I’ve been quite disappointed with Kvech this year, thought he would kick on massively and at least average 7.5. If he has a proper No. 1 ahead of him then yes, keep him. 

Keep Cook if there’s a way he can be No. 2 or No. 4. Although I fear with his lowered average he’ll be back at BV. 

Klindt is guaranteed because he has a testimonial at Lynn next year. 

I think they’ll start the season with Harrison and then when Cooper Rushen turns 16 he’ll be the Rising Star. 

IMO the team only needs 2 changes - an out-and-out No. 1 and then a weaker reserve than we’ve had this year.

For Nicolai to be effective, he needs to have a top 2 above him, dare I say a Lambert and Kvech, a couple of riders to take the pressure off him.  He can then Captain and ride with freedom, and I can still honestly see him putting something on his current 6.42.

We need 3/4 riders who will improve from 2025 to 2026, and a number 1, whoever that may be.  A strong number 6 has worked to an extent this season, and maybe a fit Ben Cook would still see us challenging for a PO spot, but I don't think we are that far away.

 

I’d be happy with that Ipswich team if the regs stay the same which I think is unlikely.

Jepsen Jensen was also.

Lawson IS a 6 point rider, check his average for September.

I thought he’d come in as a new assessed rider as he hasn’t ridden here permanently since 2019 (barring the 6 meetings you pointed out in your post in 2023). Who knows, they change the regulations at their own will anyway…

If King's Lynn can get a win vs Sheffield (weather pending) I think, overall, the club can hold it's head up high to finish on 30 points. 

When you look at the Belle Vue septet, it's not a bad effort.

The difference between the 2 clubs is clearly heatleaders. 

If the Premiership survive for 2026, it's an absolute must King's Lynn employs an 8.00+ No1

Absolutely agree with what you say, but I genuinely feel also a bit of luck will have seen us into the PO.  That home defeat to BV was damaging, as was the away defeat when we lost by 6 without Jan Kvech at reserve.  If we had picked up the points from these, we would be heading into the Sheffield fixture 2 behind BV.  Also, that defeat at Brum when Jan and Ben pulled out.  I'm sure everybody has had there fair share of bad luck but this is from our persepctive.
