At what point in his career has Becker ever shown any disloyalty to any of the clubs he has ridden for? I can guarantee, he wants to race, and if fit, he will ride.

Rider missing matches while racing abroad happens more & more these last few seasons, it's gotten to the point fans may wonder if their Polish club will "allow" them to race over here. Polish clubs always allow the riders to ride in Britain. The problem is the rider has pressure to perform and probably knows all his eggs are in the Polish basket, so for his own security of his future, he would choose to miss Britain so he is 100% for Poland. And it also depends on what "race" actually means, in some cases and instances
IainB
SCB STATEMENT: LUKE BECKER Monday August 11, 2025 The Speedway Control Bureau are aware that Luke Becker made his comeback from a serious back injury for his Polish League Club Ostrow on Saturday 9th August scoring 9 points from 6 rides. After such a serious injury and returning to racing so soon it was no surprise that Mr Becker following his return is suffering from the effects from racing and has now been withdrawn from racing for a further 5 days. The SCB have received medical documentation. Leicester have been granted a facility for their fixture versus Oxford on Monday 11th August, however if Mr Becker competes again prior to the next Leicester fixture he would be expected to return to the Leicester Team

YeOldPitGate
It shows how much UK speedway has fallen, ten plus years ago you could probably have picked up 4-5 decent new overseas riders to replace Becker, now nobody wants to ride here your left with the second division old hands who can score anywhere between zero and ten but there's no future progress in them. Can't blame Leicester for playing the game but going half the season with r/r really is a terrible state of affairs for the sport in the bigger picture its another sticking plaster on an industrial sized wound. stevebrum
Riders will always put Poland first, sometimes before they are really ready. So it’s no surprise Becker pulled out of racing elsewhere. He isn’t the first, and won’t be the last. However some riders have form for this. Becker has never done before this from recent memory?
