I would assume in Poland everything is checked multiple times and the seriousness of the sport and the money at stake nobody would take that risk, I did also suspect it was a move by Częstochowa to move the barrier I’ve of them not doing as well as they should into Stal.

For anyone interested the following in Poland this morning:

After the game, it was reported that Wtókniarz decided to protest Anders Thomsen's engine, on which he achieved this impressive result. In addition, the carburetter from the Vaculik motorcycle was also reported for inspection.

Wtókniarz had to pay a total amount of 17 thousand zlotys for filing a protest, which, as it turned out, were thrown into the proverbial mud, because everything was fine with the Thomsen engine and Vaculik carburetter and Wtókniarz's protests were rejected. Interestingly and ironically at the same time, a large part of the deposit paid for the protest against Andersen Thomsen's engine will go to the Dane's bank account.

- They checked what was with my engine. They thought I was cheating that my engine was too big. They opened it, they started checking. I thought it was even smaller. And so it was indeed. 500cc power is allowed, and I had about 495. It seems to me that no one in PGE Ekstraliga is cheating. The money stays with me. - the Dane commented on the situation

I've heard through sources that Maksym Drabik has officially signed for Grudziądz for the 2026 season, this transfer will take place even if Rybnik stay in the Ekstraliga, he has no clause to remain at Rybnik.

Glad you got to experience such a great atmosphere!! Poland is the best to be for speedway that’s for sure, league matches for me are a better atmosphere than SGP as that’s more of a party carnival celebration. You need to go the lubuskiej derby 💙💛 that tops anything you’ll ever experience !
