Edinburgh have some good riders, who don’t seem to click at the same time, if Palovaara wasn’t on a false average they would have been slaughtered last night. Good team management skills switching his heats around though, and getting the tractors out constantly at the end to give him time to sort the bike.

What decision do you feel he got wrong? If you mean Heat 1 and putting the red light on after Sedgy moved, having watched the replay a few times he did Berwick a favour the Monarchs were on a 4-2 when the riders noticed the red light

Just put BSN on and commentators confirmed what I seen (Berwick were on a 5-1 when the red lights came on).

But the riders didn’t stop immediately when they did as there were no flags raised from the infield, Hume doesn’t come off the gas till Thomson is past him look when he outs his hand up and while I wouldn’t die on the hill of it being the same with Sedgy and Cook, it looked the same as Cook had locked up slightly.

Once again we can’t perform as a team, been an ongoing thing for a while now which makes things difficult for ourselves.

This week was the turn of Polis and Paco, didn’t think kye was that great either even though scored okay. Thankfully Victor was tremendous or that would’ve been a third home loss on the bounce.

100% Victor was vey much our saviour on Friday night and we just managed to scrape through with a win. Hopefully just a one off for Oskar but we have been used to Kye and Paco being consistently inconsistent for some time and 10 points between them was only half of what Victor contributed on his own.  Kemp and Kildemand were outstanding for Berwick who may well have had more points had Cook completed 4 rides.   The Hagon/Kemp mishap also provided an unexpected gift of 2 points to Monarchs account and helped to tip the balance. A bit good fortune for a change which is always welcome.
