Quite enjoyed last night. The banter is usually good between the fans. Wonder if Berwick will put Nick at 3 when they travel to Armadale. He scored a lot of points from the middle of the team when racing for Edinburgh (Paco) and again last night.

One of our best riders at Berwick was taken out by an opposition rider in his third race (after being taken off in his 2nd race by an opposition rider). That meant we had to cover with our other reserve only. That could have cost us the meeting. Good to see Tate isn't to badly injured.

Sure there has been other cases when this hasn't been the case. Also reported that when Nick got injured in heat 15 a few weeks ago, although he was unable to take his place in the re run it would count as a ride (therefore affecting his average).

How does Workington have IRR? Tate had started his 3rd ride so surely no IRR.

What's wrong with Troy tonight (knee) riding for Northampton. Is this a speedway injury?

I will try again. This has always been the league fixture between Poole and Berwick. Nobody at Poole has changed this fixture (it was the meeting at Berwick that was changed). This has been one of the 4 Berwick BSN matches from the start of the season. I have just checked my Berwick program from the first meeting of the season and this meeting is shown in the program so how can it be rearranged?

Are you sure? BSN announced their matches at the start of the season. The dates of the 4 Berwick matches haven't changed so I would say this is the original league fixture (the Berwick v Poole meeting at Berwick was changed from league to cup).

Think Eddie has messed it up for next month. Home will be ok but looks like he is 0.04 above Bowes (5.09 compared to 5.05)

Tend to agree. Not got close in any away meetings this season (except Workington and Poole in the KOC). Hopefully improve in other competitions and keep the run going when at Plymouth in the cup final.

Wasn't there tonight but was at football last week. Was rumours doing the rounds that the floodlights were being fed from that area as a couple of floodlights failed. Possibly a temporary measure until the lights problem is fixed?

He did get a paid maximum guesting for Glasgow last season (think it was at Plymouth). Maybe that's why Glasgow had him as a guest?

According to updates, Nick withdrawn from tonight's meeting. Probably still feeling the effects of heat 15 last Saturday.

I don't see a problem either but it doesn't help when teams are offered dates and don't take these dates (was mentioned that the rained off teams were offered other date during Berwick's 6 week break). It also seems strange the Ben fund, GP qualifier, Speedway GP, British Final, Championship pairs, Riders individual final are all on a Saturday).

I would agree with that. Berwick would probably have kept 2, Glasgow would have kept 2 and Redcar would have kept 2. That would be 3 teams (unless Klindt had raced) looking for a rider to lead their team.

Drew replaced Craig Cook. His average is lower than Craig's so there is no rule breaking. Let's say if Kyle Howarth was to get injured, Glasgow would be able to replace him with a rider up to Kyle's average despite having Chris Harris in the team (who is also above 8).

Doesn't matter what Drew's average was as long as it was below Craig Cook's average. The problem was that Cook was 7.99 at the start of the season.

Poole were always at Berwick. It was originally a league match.

Have to question having various events on a Saturday (doesn't help some teams). Pairs, British Final and riders championship all on a Saturday isn't going to help teams with fixtures (possibly causing fixture delays as you mention). Pairs and riders championship usually a Sunday, British Final could be any day (Berwick have meeting with Edinburgh removed from fixture list due to British Final).

Pretty dumb from both riders. I was standing on first bend and it looked like Cooper kicked Jye when the first crash happened. Cannot see how Jye could be excluded in the re run as the red lights were on fairly quickly when him and Cooper collided again ( was possibly looking at an all 4 re run).

Expect Poole to go through. Lambert getting more points than Cairns would get and having Lawson riding being the difference.

Said earlier on this thread (was on his Danish teams Facebook page). His Danish team replaced him due to injury.
