Your complete lack of intelligence to read what I wrote before you replied is amusing.

Firstly, I wrote " Can't they move NSS more central in England its more accessible for all fans of speedway", in case you are not aware England is different to GB, and Manchester certainly isn't central in England.

Secondly, I wrote " I would have made the journey on Friday but from Ipswich its a long way on a weekday. " I couldn't get tickets for the Sat in Manchester and Cardiff was on a Saturday as well, so once again, driving 200+ miles when you finish work at 16:30 isn't feasible is it.

I'll let you dwell on your poor comment and hopefully you learn from your mistakes and read what I write next time.

Other than that, great post!

Your complete lack of intelligence to read what I wrote before you replied is amusing.

Firstly, I wrote " Manchester is right in the middle of Britain.    Probably the fairest place to hold a G.P. to make sure it's equally accessible for everyone."

Since I was talking about the fairest place to host the BRITISH Grand Prix, that would make sense to be the middle of BRITAIN.   It wouldn't be very intelligent to leave out Scotland and Wales, and just go for the middle of England.  What kind of fool would do that?

Secondly I wrote "Manchester is 230 miles from Ipswich.   Ipswich to Cardiff is 260 miles."'

These distances don't change on a daily basis.  They are fixed.  Surely anyone with a reasonable intelligence level would understand that.

I wasn't commenting on anyone not being able to get tickets on a Saturday because no one made any comment about not being able to get tickets on a Saturday.   If someone later wants to dishonestly pretend that they said they couldn't get Saturday tickets, when they actually had said no such thing, then their dishonesty says more about them that anyone else.

Let's hope they can learn from their mistakes, and make better posts in future.

No they can't unfortunately, gates open 5pm.

That is an extremely poor decision from someone and in my opinion the FIM and WBD should ensure that qualifying/sprint is always available for ticket holders( limited number ok) to have entrance to all the stadiums- it should be part of the contract.

It would be fair enough for fans having to leave at the completion of the Sprint race- around 3.15pm to give them time to reset for the GP.

” Made for TV “ springs to mind !!!!

So GP points are at stake and the public are not allowed to attend.

Pathetic

What! Absolutely the correct decision 🙃

Why F1 aren't taking a lead out of Speedway's book I don't know, running their events behind closed doors!

I can't think of much, if anything,  that has improved since WBD took over.

'Made for TV' sums it up well.

Do we know how the riding order for the Saturday is decided?

Not seen anything yet- maybe as an extra incentive for Friday night’s GP it should be the finishing order 1 to 16 gets the choice in that order for Saturday. Probably they will decide to add some jeopardy and do it in reverse order so 16th gets 1st choice lol

Someone needs to make a big banner to display at belle vue saying “Get discovery out of speedway”

Think that might have to be left to Gorzow as the Poles would be up for it, whereas at Belle Vue rather than Discovery out it would be the fans holding it- out of the stadium lol

Yes what’s what I thought use finishing order to pick gates, but some confirmation  would be nice . Just hope they don’t use same lineup for both, surely not.

Not sure if it's significant but there is a qualifying programme on Friday on Discovery+ but not on Saturday.

Yes we know there is no qualifying on Saturday that is confirmed on timetable in FIM website. We just don’t know how they going to do riding order picks on Saturday instead.

Saturday’s looking a lot better than Friday.

On my preferred forecaster it's the other way round

https://www.yr.no/en/forecast/daily-table/2-2643123/United Kingdom/England/Manchester/Manchester

Either way there is clearly a genuine threat of rain.

We also know that Belle Vue drains well and that Phil Morris will pull out all the stops to make it happen (cf last year's SON2)

If you buy a hospitality ticket you can watch from grandstand £60 per person food included 😜
