Col
Bizarre meeting really, is there a hosepipe ban in Birmingham? Track terribly dusty, no sign of watering. Thought Aces were in average reduction mode first four hears, optimised by Lidsey gong first to fourth in heat 3. The top 3 then stepped up to support Blodorn who was trapping excellently. As the track got dustier the outside line disappeared and it was follow the leader after heat 11 summed up by Musielak being unable to land a blow on Zishcke in heat 11 then winning heats 13 & 15 with Bewley going backwards in both trying to find some grip on the outside. Robinh88
Bit of a bore! Superior riders going backwards when chasing dirt on the outside. I remember when PB opened initially there was some great racing weekly. I struggle to fathom how anyone can charge £24/25 for that non product. Feel for Birmingham fans they deserve better. Trackrat
Went for one last visit to Perry Barr before it shuts, Awful track, down to dusty base on inside & no grip out wide. Dan Bewley busting a gut up by the fence & losing ground!

SUPERACE
Went for the last visit to Perry Bar, Aces won at a Canter, but the track was awful, does Speedway no favours.

If every track was like Perry Barr, Speedway would have been finished in the UK years ago, you can sign almost any rider you care to mention if they can't race then what's the point ? the track has been a constant issue for years.
HGould
The FACT with the Track is and always has been ACCESS TIME. The best TRACKMEN in the World cannot deliver a Race Track in a few hours per week with limited access to water and time to prepare it. I'm not defending the indefensible here but sometimes people need to understand the very strict timescales Brummies have ALWAYS had at this particular Stadium to understake track prep.
