Irrelevant what their reserves scored …. Missing a heat leader who was replaced by another sides number 7 is it that hard to see why they were weaker?

So if next week Lewis Kerr is out and you replace him with Jack Smith or Ace Pijper you won’t be weaker then

Pirates would bring in Oxford's number 7 Gusts if we had to replace Kerr, sure would make us weaker!!! 😆

The only change was Kennedy who replaced Jordan Jenkins, not sure Jenkins would have done any better.

Felt a tad ashamed of being a Poole supporter tonight. We had such a superb crowd, just over 2,100 according the numbers given to the stewards. But my word, if I was some of them I wouldn’t come back. That track was awful. The dust from heat number one should’ve been a good sign to water it more but it took until half way through the meeting for someone to effectively p**s on it. And it did absolutely nothing too it. 
 

never mind the whole starting gate stuff as well. Not a good look tonight 

One positive, the addition of Lee from
PirateCast to the announcing team this season is such a good move

Plenty of other riders with closer averages to Jenkins,Joe Thompson,Fraser bowes jye etheridge on last weeks performances,Ben barker,Tate zischke,Kyle Thomson,Connor mountain for example.

And you’re having a pop at a young British rider with less than ONE MONTHS experience of championship racing 😡😡…Very sad!! No wonder some of these promising young riders give up with supposed fans like you about!!!!!!!!

Trouble with riding for Poole though. People want us to lose/fail so that will include having a pop at Will unfortunately.

That's a ridiculous comparison, Zaine Kennedy is just over half a point away from being a heat leader for Scunthorpe, Smith & Pijper could add 4 points to their averages & still not be heat leaders for Berwick/Redcar!

Yes Oxford were weakened, but not by a massive amount.

Statistically Poole's reserves are better than Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Plymouth & Redcar's.

No surprise Oxford's reserves heavily outscored them, they look a fair bit better (on paper).

Workington gaining a bonus point, Oxford doing the same in the BSN series & Oxford having the potential to do the same in the league, won't hurt Pirates play-off chances if they don't make the top 4, which doesn't look likely. Poole haven't lost to anyone else on aggregate.

While Poole are not as dominant as they have been in recent years, they are still the team to beat imo.

Oxford might have the best rider in the league with Masters but Lawson showed him the way home tonight with a superb 15 max. Backed up by Cook and Kerr  and the ever trying Thomsen. Tonight though Oxford had a huge advantage at reserve and Gusts, on his first visit to Poole, took an instant liking to the track and was quite brilliant.

So a big thank you to the Oxford team manager for only using him for 5 rides. I couldn’t believe it when Killeen came out for his 4th ride, and then in heat 13 when Gusts didn’t replace Knudsen. Cost Oxford the opportunity to get something tonight.

I can believe that very easily. Schroeck makes more mistakes than any team manager in history. It'd probably be more of a surprise if he made all the right decisions.

I think many of them will return, it was a good meeting with some good racing and passing, yes a bit dusty at times but that is expected at this time of year.
