Interesting what Buster said about the track. 

However, watching from the terraces it didn't seem to give riders any trouble. Just seemed surprisingly slick, which played to Leicesters far superior gating strength. 

The sun is awkward as it shines directly onto start gate, but never used to be an issue, only seems to be a modern thing? Or was the sun in a different place on Saturday nights?

The racing this year has been very good most meetings, but last night was truly awful. All the extra track work made s0d all difference to the racing, just dragged out what was basically a cr@p meeting. Thank God the crowd was poor...

On a different subject, have they seen sense and opened the main gate to back car park again rather than clog up the industrial estate?

This was the last meeting that I will attend at Kings Lynn this season as the last three times been there has been a delayed start for whatever reason which causes me to miss the end of the meeting as I need to be on the last train back to London at 21:42. I cannot think of another sport that is so amateurish as to have delayed starts. At times the sport does not help itself. Last week delayed for a big crowd, this week for additional track prep. 

Lynn normally rip the starts up too,but what makes Lynn really grippy is the clay content so normally the starts really are very grippy.Last night most of that had gone off of most of the track.Simply Leicester outgated Lynn pretty much all night.

Kelvinht both gates in the main car park has been open for the last 3 or 4 meetings.

Cheers... been avoiding it as it was a right ball ache getting out. Had missed previous 2 home meetings due to hol and illness

I pretty much agree with that although Peterborough did do ok with the dads army side.

I’d say teams with top end power are nailed on for the top 4.

Dad's army was in the first year back after covid wasn't it when there weren't really any "stars" in the league, that makeup of team may have worked then (as it did), can't see it doing so again while the superstars are all at 4 clubs.

And the Panthers had 4 riders with an average over 7, along with Scotty 6.71 and Bjarne 6.33

Only Bewley and Holder could be classed as big hitters that year...
