Maybe Lynn should've signed Kerr for Cook for the rest of the season.

Obviously Birmingham away is an easier match to score points at than any other. But even if Kerr can't replicate this form each week, you can rely on him to turn up.

If he agreed terms before the end of heat 15 does that count as less than 75% of fixtures

that was never going to happen unfortunately

Hope Nic is ok.

I'm sure he'll be fit enough to miss Plymouth's next home fixture...

Have you still not got that autograph?! I think he should throw in a key ring also as you are totally obsessed with him!

No I haven't... he's never there when I go to get one!

A much better performance from the Brummies but Chris Adams said that he felt they didn't deserve to lose, what planet is he on ? the Brummies were at home against a team that they beat just over a month ago, why did they not deserve to lose according to him because they lost Ht 14, what about the other 14 Hts that they had a chance of winning ? it is such a sad way for the Brummies to go out on and we have just one more meeting for West Midland Speedway before we lose our last remaining Team.

Clearly a not fully fit Barker showed great determination. The gust of the evening astounded everyone including me...... Lewis Kerr once again showed his inconsistency perfectly tonight. Given another opportunity he'll probably score 0 at Saddlebow Road 🙂

Sadly another British rider who seems to have suffered severe injury and never quite fulfilled his potential.

Another  who I regularly saw as a very young lad at Lakeside juniors was Sammy Hagon. Showed great promise in junior race always bringing up the rear against the likes of Jason Edwards, but despite an awful lot of track time never settled at Poole and finds himself struggling in the upper tier at reserve.

Sad to see yet another club closedown, this time extinguishing all signs of speedway in the West Midlands, which once boasted 4 clubs (CH, COV, Wolves and BM) Like London and the South East speedway is finished for good.

What has become of Dudley Wood and Wolves old stadia ? We all know the never ending saga of Brandon... but have these other stadia succumbed to housing developments ?

Dudley Wood was built on after the developers appealed against the Council decision to reject development and won, Monmore is still there the owners Ladbrokes (Entain) no longer want Speedway at the venue due to Speedway (shale) allegedly causing injuries to some dogs.

Have to agree with that first part, picking a very weak team & almost winning, does not mean they didn't deserve to lose.

Certainly feel for the fans.

It's a shame that there's a feeling they're being put out of their misery, rather than going out with a bang.

They definitely deserved the latter.

Yeah, that's really sad. The thought of "finally it's over" should never be in your mind as a speedway fan / rider / promoter.
