Redcar vs Plymouth

This should be a cracking meeting between two evenly matched teams. Redcar are a tough nut to crack anywhere, especially at home so the Gladiators will need Klindt and Nicholls to be at their very best. If they keep it to a manageable level, anything up to 10pts I would say - it sets it up for a heck of a return fixture tomorrow.

I've got Redcar just edging it tonight but should be a great meeting, hopefully it'll be a good crowd supporting this fixture

Have you been to the Collsium recently ?

Before you go sprouting your 💩.  Check out your facts. May I ask on what grounds you base your 🐄💩 on ?

Yes I've been to try the 'Coliseum' the past 3 seasons. Pretty ramshackle place to be honest. Thankfully didn't go this season when on a sunny day the Redcar fans were allowed to pay to get into the stadium before it was called off due to insufficient track work after a rain storm hours earlier. The place needs some drains.

Plymouth's use of a permanent guest at no 1 season after season was a joke and shouldn't have been allowed.

Numerous meetings, unfortunately quite a few on BSN called off due poor track prep!

Hopefully the tide isn't too high tomorrow so the meeting is on!

Such a huge shame for Plymouth to lose Barker and Thompson so early.

Thought Plymouth battled hard in the circumstances, but was a mountain to climb.

Thought Pijper was going to geky unlucky tonight, not sure I have seen someone ride so hard for so few points.

Horrible crash in heat 3 for Ben and Joe. Best wishes to both of them.

Ben just has no luck with injuries and that a couple of big knocks for Joe in the last 7 days after his big off at the Coliseum last Saturday too.

The rest battled hard to keep it going as a contest until the later stages when they just ran out of options. Effectively that first 150 metres of heat 3 ended any hopes Plymouth had.

First visit to Redcar and very impressed with the setup and a friendly welcome. Luckily haven't got that long trip home as staying up north for a trip to Workington tomorrow.

Garry's going to be busy on the phone on his way back South trying to find a combination of 6 riders to represent the Gladiators tomorrow night. I reckon only Scott and Alfie will be there from the declared 1-7. If anyone can sort it Gazza can though.

If Plymouth didn't allow their number one to pick & choose his meetings, they could've had a heat leader lined up at number 1 with Tobias Thomsen at 2. Then only 1 more guest needed.

Feel for the injured riders, but no sympathy for the club.

Get well soon Ben & Joe.
