If it’s a championship level and averages then Ipswich would probably say bye bye along with the supporters 😂 what a way to kill speedway in one swoop.

Personally let the so call Premiership get on with it .The Championship will survive in it’s present form. Haven't a clue how the Premiership get out of their situation .

Ride with 6 teams it’s pretty simple. This year was only 6 teams anyway 😂 Birmingham didn’t do anything did they. And no relegation from the league so it doesn’t matter having 6. Less teams might be better, take the point scoring for match making away and let anyone get the best team then can with the most top riders. Probably bring in more crowds than more league teams just having one or two GP stars.

It's not an us and them situation like it used to be with the BL & NL now though, it's one association

What about Leicester Iain? I heard on a podcast the other day that they are considering whether to stay in the Prem or not. Sounds a bit like Poole at the end of 2019.

Personally I don't have a problem with it, as long as there is a club at a decent level and it's competitive, that'll do me. We had a pretty successful time in the CL under Mr Dickson and none of the fans were asking to move up to PL on a Thursday/Monday night as shown with the drop in crowds.

Its going to be an interesting winter Birmingham gone, doubts over Leicester, Oxford, Sheffield, that leaves Lynn, Belle Vue and Ipswich as possible starters, anyone moving up would be bonkers the fact the Ford's have no interest speaks volumes.

Running with six teams is bad enough I can't really see it being viable with any less than that figure it looks like the day of reckoning is sadly finally here.

he had signed a warsaw contract or whatever its called so the liklihood was he was going to get a spot somewhere 

the issue is that he was missing saturday plymouth meetings so he could ride on a sunday afternoon in poland

there is clearly an arrangement between the authorities in the two countries regarding klindt otherwise hed have been banned 

whether thats down to the logistics of getting from plymouth to poland or something else we dont know as there has been little clarity

its a bit puzzling that its been a 75% guest and no ban which seems to be a halfway house punishment that shouldnt exist 

 as a general point there have been far too many absences inbthe championship this year due to fixture clashes

if clubs are going to race on fridays and saturdays then it needs to be fully committed riders only and those who arent fully committed cant be allowed to sign in the first place

it might be championship level but it would be the top league,plus a conference league

I asked this on another thread several weeks ago but you ignored it, so I will try again.

You keep mentioning 'doubts over Sheffield' but with no detail or substance. Can you please us what you think you know as you seem to be the only person mentioning it ?

No more knowledge than anyone else I wish the tigers all the best and hope they continue, its simply down to the same rumour's you will have heard the Bates family's main business struggling and the stadium situation possibly changing.

Mr Tolley said on TV  interview last night that there was 'no truth in the rumour that he was taking over at Sheffield, despite some banners plus a top hat with a tiger on it'!!  He did say it with a smile on his face and also emphasised that he would still be involved in speedway next year!! 

He also mentioned the possibility of Cradley returning in 2027!!?

The stadium situation is I think down to a 2+2=5 assumption based on stock cars no longer racing there. 

The reason for that is quite simply that they only raced there 3/4 times a year, and the pit space they require has been utilised for solar generators which will generate income 365 days a year. A complete no brainer from a business point of view, but no impact on speedway

Fingers crossed that's the case we don't want to be losing any more tracks although the promoters take a lot of stick (justified in some cases) we can all agree 99% of them aren't in speedway for he money. Tolley is the perfect example hundreds of thousands spent but seems he's not done yet , his badge business must make a fortune for him.
