About as hard as cotton wool he is a twit. Well…. I would say Wright more than held his own during that encounter. Comfortable points winner. You, on the other hand, are preaching from behind a keyboard about how hard somebody is. Edited 7 hours ago by BackInTheDHSS

Glad to see another point of view. If you watch closely as Wright crosses the finish line he hits the rut in gate 4 which puts him right into the path of Jake, he had a split second to sort it out and got it wrong , don’t think it was deliberate but he could have turned straight around on track and apologised but it made for great entertainment anyway. All loved up again afterwards and felt sorry for Jake as the blown engine didn’t help his mood .

Coraldon
Charlie Wright did cruise round the circuit after the incident and was approaching Jake, Im sure to check he was OK and apologise, but Jake pulled Charlie of the bike which caused the fracas, but it all ended well with kisses at the pits. Tbf I tend to waffle and lose track but in what way have I talked my way out of a job? Pretty sure what I’ve said was correct, and I include myself in that category, the club does need to change its attitude. Imagine my job with Ryan is reasonably safe so at least I have that to fall back on.

BSN is a commercial enterprise independent of BSPL/SCB and they don’t have the right let alone the power to fine anyone. The fight should have boosted their business and they will be grateful for it. I suspect the ruling bodies will see it differently as they seem to have lost sight of what constitutes entertainment.

Fair enough, I will say though you did open up by saying "if" Scunny return next year... as there are already rumours surrounding many tracks in this country I was quite shocked to hear you use the word "if" regarding Scunthorpe and I bet a fair few others were too. As regards talking yourself out of a job, history suggests that it is not a good idea to question a club owners attitude during an interview, it tends not to end well for the interviewee 😂 Fair play for your honesty though 👏 Not sure of your situation with Dougy, but if he had to make a choice between riding UK and not riding UK next year would you still be working with him if he chose the latter? Onthafence
Team definitely needs a shake up for next year there’s no question. But saying everyone bar Harrison is abit much. declan Kennedy I feel has done nothing wrong. First year in the Uk, bumped himself into the main body of The team into a heat leader berth. Seeing all the tracks for the first time when going away. Realistically should’ve been at reserve for the year. harrison has had a year in the league already prior to this year. mountain has been pretty solid all year. Only last few meetings abit below par but still always managed points. zaine has been okay, extremely good when was at reserve but struggled from time to time when at number 2 particularly on the away tracks. But he’s been off a bike and out of the sport for 2-3 years prior to this season and from what I know had minimal bike time. Did put a point and abit on his starting average. worrall has shown glimpses but just not a number 1 anymore. If he was to return I would have him at 5 and a true number 1 come in. as for lambert and Allen. Both been well off all year. Definitely time for a change for them and to move on. just my opinion and observation.

Imagine my job with Ryan is reasonably safe so at least I have that to fall back on. David is right. I don't know how much input he has on team building, or if Rob has final say. It was clear to everyone at the start of the season that the team was mediocre and would not be contenders. I have a lot of respect for Rob and what he does at the EWR ,but his major failing this year was being too loyal to last years team. He also took a massive gamble on bringing back Worrall after a year out and the Kennedy brothers (one obviously never ridden in UK ). Lambert sorry to see him struggle, but a year too far for him. Unfortunately Luke, the only one doubling up , has faded since joining Kings Lynn. Jake needs a better tuner since he has been fantastic on the bends, but constantly easily passed on the straights. Connor has been consistent but should have kicked on more. Gone are the days when several riders would offer their bikes to a struggling rider, its sad but no longer much team playing , just individuals looking after themselves. eric i
The Sun newspaper running a fight night story, its a shame it takes something like this to get publicty but any publicity is good publicity.

BSPL are clearly doing what they are expected to do -- promoting, 'acting in the best interests of the sport' by posting the fight as entertainment Referee reported both riders to SCB, who will doubtless take action in due course, penalising the riders for 'bringing the sport into disrepute' Two separate organisations 1
