Swedish league 2026 Final 2 legs Tuesday 15th and 22nd September

Smederna looses and it feels really stupid but expected. They have had mediocre starts all season but still managed to salvage wins, but against Artem and Bastian it was punished.

Also a reminder that that the finals will be available to watch world wide on SVT play (Swedish equivalent of BBC).

Can someone explain why Dackarna (which I believe to be Malila AKA Luxo Stars previously) are in the playoffs rather than Lejonen?

Lejonen and Vargarna were knocked out in the quarter finals where Dackarna were lucky loosers.

Because Dackarna scored more match points( not race points)  than Lejonen in the QF’s and as Ghostie has said were the lucky losers.

Thanks for explaining because this was puzzling me too. That method of countback must be about 6th or 7th on any list you could come up with, surely?!

It’s the same system that Poland used when they had 6 qualify for QF’s - they had a winners table and a losers table based on match  points won followed by race points difference. The best team in the winners table then met the lucky loser in the SF’s. Dackarna won a match ( 2 points ) but lost on aggregate whereas Lejonen drew( 1 point) and lost on aggregate.

Anyone able to confirm who was all nominated for Heat 15.

Only thing I can see is Pawlicki crashed then meeting abandoned.

Red Thorssell

Blue Lambert

White Prem Pawlicki

Yellow Huckenbeck

I didn’t realise it was raining and that’s why race wasn’t re-run. Prem Pawlicki i’m sure is ok.

Personally I'd rather see top 4 to semi finals.
