Was obvious who was going to make the Final tbh. Leszno only made the play-offs due to them facing the right teams at the right time so they were never going to be competitive in the play-offs, Gorzow would've taken their place if they were at full strength throughout the season. Lublin have struggled all season and the questionable moves they made last winter in the market have come back to bite them. Igor came in after round 8. It's pointless discussing anything with you as you wear rose tinted specs where Gorzow are concerned. Pollestad has never appeared in Gorzow 1-7 yet has had more rides than anyone other than Przedpelski. How many rides has Kordum appeared in? Holder, Thomsen, Przedpelski, two decent reserves & Pollestad at #8 didn't deserve to make playoffs. Zielona Góra top 3 have massively under performed & Grudziądz got unlucky with how fixtures fell. Gorzow are deservedly still in the relegation mix.

Col
Lindgren injury (still obviously not 100%) has impacted Lublin. Vaculik drop off was unpredictable but I suspect he was signed as good mates with Zmarzlik. Lublin haven't had a dominant reserve which has been their strength with Cierniak & Przyjemski in their title winning years. After Parnitskyi I'm guessing the Gorzow reserves & Małkiewicz have been the highest averaging reserves. Anderson bloomed for Wroclaw today. The issue with people like you on this forum is that you talk nonsense and when somebody talks facts you get all upset and have to throw in the “rose tinted glasses” purely because I’ve got ties via Polish family to Stal and the club. I’ve said on various occasions that stal have been poor and also said they are doing amazing other times, I’ve given updates on the clubs which turned out to be correct whilst others just speculated regarding the financial issues they incurred. So let’s talk facts again… in Poland whether you are number 1 or number 8 you are part of the team who the manager chooses to include to help win a match. Jack holder got injured in round 9 of the league which, at the time, Gorzow were sitting 6th and level points with up to 4th, thus, in the play off contention. Igor Kordun was drafted in for round 10 onwards and took 23 rides when he was asked for the remainder of the season, which isn’t bad going for a 16 yr old, when you compare than to William Cairns at Falubaz for example, Igor outperformed him in every sense. Nothing against Will but just to give some context to the facts. Let me know if you want to know anything else factual instead of opinionated arguments. Vaculik isn’t good friends with Zmarzlik, Zmarzlik asked him if he wanted to come but not due to being friends, due to other things going on at Stal and the reset that was coming and Holder leaving. Vaculik being poor would easily have been predicted due to him having two poor seasons at Stal before moving. Disagree entirely tbh, The way Gorzow's youngsters have stepped up this season when the Club has pretty much been missing one of Holder or Thomsen in almost every match is very impressive tbh. First time riding in the Ekstraliga for some of those youngsters and they consistently stepped up under big pressure and helped the Club put points/wins on the board.

LagutaRacingFan
Once it's mathematically confirmed for Wroclaw, I honestly think they should pull Artem, Kurtz and Bewley out of their races. No point risking injury for dead rubber heats.
ShanoXtra
For Gorzow, the play down has cost the club an additional shortfall of 1.5 million zloty for the additional four matches (up to) after losing against Falubaz. The riders have declared they will ride for reduced amounts to bring the cost down to 750,000 pln. A further 1.5 million zloty has been given by the city from the start of the season which now amounts to 3.8 million zloty. No club in the Ekstraliga contractually protects itself from the play down matches, this is a legal loophole for the league. This serves as a warning to everyone that play downs are not additional matches for the clubs to make money, but for only the league itself to enhance profit from TV rights. Moor fool Gorzow in that case- every Extraleague club know they need to budget for 8 home matches at least for the season and play-off teams guaranteed 9. Bet they weren’t moaning at the extra ZG home match which drew the 2nd highest home crowd of the season 12,955 ( ZG league match was the best). This is the same for most clubs, not just Gorzow, as stated within the section I wrote about. All clubs do not prepare for additional rounds in Ekstraliga apart from the guaranteed. Half of the clubs in Ekstraliga are in debt or break even. The money for home tickets is normally enough to cover the riders wage and that is it with a very small profit left. All clubs rely on the city to give money, sponsors and TV deals to boost their income to a higher profit, not ticket sales. TV deals do not include the further matches that Gorzow and Częstochowa are now in, this would be exactly the same statement coming from Falubaz or Grudziądz if they lost their matches so you would have to say more fool those clubs too. Częstochowa and Falubaz are in big debt this season also. Everybody knows the attendance as the figures are easy to find, Ekstraliga website -fixtures- competitions - PGE Ekstraliga.
