Given its exactly the same sport I do feel comparisons are fair...

They are really good at running their version of it....

We are really poor at running our version of it...

So if uk speedway had the same amount of money polish speedway has things would be the same?? Yes same sport but Poland has so much more going for it than uk.

The UK, once, "ruled the roost"...

And, in the past 25 years, have had tens of millions of pounds given to it....

Poland have, quite rightly, looked at how this country ran its version of the sport, and, quite correctly, said "We won't do that"..

Hence, we are where we are...

Also uk had huge crowds back in the day, I've been lucky to get to a fair few tracks in the uk apart from Poole crowds I've witnessed have been genuinely poor

Difference is Brady is by far the better gater and boy does that count at the highest level

And Brady would push Dan towards an air fence if he thought it would win him a GP...

Dan, maybe this year, has learnt that, and would do the same...

Of course they are ..

The sport, in the UK, has no credibility, integrity, or authenticity....

It just exists so 30 year old, and plus, riders can keep riding...

You win any league in the UK, and, who cares? Hardly anyone...

Especially as to win it, the team probably borrowed  a rider from one of their competitors...

A joke sport in the UK...

But a major sport in Poland...

Completely agree, just my humble opinion people comparing the 2 countries is not worth the bother.

If you're not a hard rider, you get bullied.  Bartosz was the biggest bully, but the others are slowly learning. 👍

Woryna will be worth watching.....

He certainly isn't fazed by BZ...

Football isn't King in the UK it's God and gets so much coverage it swallows the rest up.

Spot on.

Nobody is going to throw money at Speedway over here because it's way down the pecking order when it comes to a list of priorities.

England/UK compete to an Elite level standard at most sports and that's why certain Sports get the big money TV deals like Football, Rugby, Darts etc.

Where's Poland is the complete opposite, Pretty much a talentless country when it comes to Sports outside of Speedway and voleyball hence why the TV companies will throw the zlotys at Speedway.

Just like over here. Football in Poland is by far and away the No 1 sport...

It isn't Poland's fault that speedway, in the UK, isnt anywhere near the top 10 followed sports...

That fault lies squarely with those who have ran the sport for the past twenty five years or so..

This sport had literally hundreds of thousands watching it in the UK in the 70's...

Then it made some fundamentally very poor decisions...

Decisions which haven't ever been  changed over the past twenty years or so...

It certainly isn't Poland's fault that the sport in the UK is now a Mickey Mouse entity...
