That's true but what's to suggest that it won't be the opposite next year where he might start out well and then regresses? If he could attain what he achieved at the tail-end of last season i would agree with you about him being worthy of a place next year.

A gamble no doubt but a gamble at 5.93 feels one worth taking. On his day he’s a Championship heat leader.
