If Leicester were to change their mind and decide that Douglas isn't strong enough to be a No.1, who can challenge Fricke, Bewley, Kurtz and Holder, then who could they sign? I can only think of Zmarzlik as an option, and that's clearly a no-no. It's obvious the Leicester top 5 is Douglas, Masters, Morris, Thompson and Howarth. Becker not doing UK in 2026 ? I don't see him fitting at Belle Vue, King's Lynn or Sheffield, so his only options seem to be Team 5 or Ipswich.
SPEEDY69
Would be great for Ipswich, has done very well there in the past.

Brought up on the small technical tracks in America so was always going to take a liking to Foxhall. Would be a great signing.

Cos if it's Ben that would give an even weaker number six than Kemp.

Kemp wouldn't be too bad if he stopped the packing up at the back thing. What other experienced reserves are around that are guaranteed to be better? I think the RS position is what's really been the killer for us.
Hamish McRaker
With Douglas being, according to some, a nailed-on certainty to be Lions' no.1, they're dragging their feet somewhat in making the announcement! KL, Sheffield, and Belle Vue (probably) have all named their no.1's, so what's holding up Leicester from doing likewise?

Fullmax
Have they chosen the team yet or still finalising it ? Can't understand what all this waiting around for signing announcements is meant to achieve. Just release the full team now if its already been decided. Must be giving the big bombshell Douglas announcement a chance to reverberate before making any further announcements. I'm not a fan of hype, but it had all the impact of a pint of lukewarm, flat and poorly-kept beer, from both him and the club🤔

I suppose it gets some people get excited though 😕 .
