Which rider had the most colourful and flashiest designed Leathers / Kevlars.

I remember John Davis & Jamie Habbin nicknamed the pink panther as he rode for Peterborough. Both Donn pink leathers.

who can you name as a rider regarding colours or designs that stood out amongst the rest.

Jamie habbin messaged me a few weeks back about a bike I was selling and he was surprised I remembered he was the pink panther saying that was a lifetime ago

Really liked Jamie. He looked smart in his outfit. How’s he doing nowadays?

Never liked coloured Leathers.

I thought Black Leathers looked great to me.

With a proper Race Jacket - just Club Crest on the Front and Number on the back.

Those definitely WERE the days.

But you said, 13 years ago, on here, "Graeme Smith was known as 'The White Knight' - hence my name on this Forum. He rode in white leathers."

HaHa!!!  🤣🤣

Nice one.

I loved watching the Rider, not the Leathers. To this day I still think he was our best Rider in the 70's.

I used his nickname as my handle on here as a sort of tribute to him - that's all there is to it. 🙂

Remember in the 90's and 00's when bright colurs were the rage. Remember Eastbourne riders having some lary kevlars back in the day. Kids used to like the Joe Screen zebra kevlars with green tassles.  Looking at the SGP riders the modern trend seems to be black or blue kevlars in the main.

As for leathers has to be the Wiggy Green !!
