I can assure you that I'm not clutching at straws as the words have basically come from Picko's mouth.

Picko's the one who said that he's riding for Sheffield if they come to tapes and British Speedway ends up in One Big League.

Therefore no point in Scunny announcing another rider until Picko is a 100% certainty to line-up at No.1.

I do believe that we will see a Two Tier Structure and everything will work out in the end though.

Yeah agreed he would benefit from a place in the prem. He always gives a 100 percent and is a good honest rider, it will be interesting to see if he can put any points on his starting average of 6.11 which is 5.96 after the British reduction

No doubt he will be in the top league in 2027 - will certainty be a heat leader in one big league, possibly a number 1

The 9 championship clubs will stick together to protect themselves, as they have some form of business acumen. One big league could work, but it most definitely is not feasible to try and plan in December, it needs to be decided in the summer ready for the following season, and it may well be that this happens next year ready for 2027 like you say. But Ipswich, and Belle Vue, need to realise that it is unsustainable to continue to bring in GP superstars, forcing teams who can’t financially afford to compete to go to the wall and go under for the sake of two or three clubs.
