Why? Scunthorpe look in enough trouble as it is. This will sound mean (because it is) but i genuinely don't get all the hype around Max Perry needing a team place all the time.....surely the fact that it happens season after season says something? Team building averages shouldn't be tinkered with just to accommodate someone to frankly has suspect machinery and doesn't mix it enough. 

Neither will feature given the points available but Mickie Simpson would be more deserving of the position than Perry based upon last season.

Absolutely, I remember Poole being criticized for letting him go yet most championship teams could have fitted him in, rode pretty well at times for Glasgow but they let him go, could easily have fitted in at Oxford for either of their reserves so I dont see why Scunthorpe would even consider him with the points available, they will be bottom without Perry in the team.

Plenty of other teams could have signed him but no takers so that tells you nobody thinks he is good enough. If he was on the way up he would be signed by now.

Not for Glasgow, they had no problem letting him go. Most teams could have signed him but didn't.

A team manager would want whoever is likely to score the most points and that isn't Max Perry, he improved his average by a little last season but you would not call him up and coming, if Workington were able to fit him in then Etherington would not have a team place, would Perry beat Etherington on a regular basis, not sure he would.
