szkocjasid
No surprise as Jenkins has been struggling, would be a risk waiting to see if he picks up form, if he doesn't then he's on a far lower average to find a replacement. If Jenkins was dropping to reserve for June, maybe I'd have waited to see if he improves. If they replaced him before the average changes & have a 5+ point new signing, keeps the reserve pairing looking strong.

Can't fault his loyalty to the sport but your right Simon is five years past his peak, they need to try and pluck a 4-5 point unpolished gem from abroad

Lambert's average at reserve 4.71 (5.18) vs Jenkins average as a second string 3.27 (4.36). Even if Lambert drops a point from moving up to second string, still strengthens the team. If Lambert was replacing Wright, I'd agree "awful signing" but he's replacing a struggling second string. Club needs to be asking why fans are leaving early every week with meetings dragging on and overall poor racing on a badly prepared track ,NON paying fans are allowed to watch from the Banking while us mugs pay to watch a mediocre product.

I come over for the Workington match earlier this year, I won’t be back. The track was horrific, the guy on the tractor looked like he didn’t have a clue what he was doing when they tried to fix turn 1. The meeting went on for ages aswell which made a long day even longer

That has been the worst time by far. It comes to something when the old track Curator, deemed somewhat of an expert, but left due to a rumoured falling out, had to go onto the centre green and guide the new one on how to fix the god awful first bend. That first bend was catching the experienced riders out, nevermind the lesser experienced.

I dont blame him for not wanting to rush back. Travelling over 2.5 hours to sit and watch a guy spin around in circles on his tractor for longer than the racing went on. Quite embarrassing watching them come out every other heat to try fix the same issue.

Nah I’m good thanks, be irresponsible to travel 2 and a half hours with alcohol on board, nice to see what you get up to in your down time. Seems like I’ve hit a nerve here, truth hurting lad? I’ve been going speedway since ‘99 when the comets restarted. You maybe want to go drown that attitude of yours cause it is horrendous. God forbid having an opinion and putting it on a forum, you buffoon.
