I love Jason Edwards, he's one of my favourite riders around and he seems like such a nice lad, so I feel awful suggesting this but:

Simon Lambert and Jason Edwards out

Charles Wright and 2.19 in

Tom Spencer? Charlie Southwick? Jack Roberts?

Really feel like Jake Mulford is starting to find a little form this season, so I don't see the number 4 spot being too bad for him, particularly at home, and it allows Charles back in the team and Nicolai to stay, meaning the back end of the meeting will be stronger. Jake Allen as 3rd heat leader is very strong and Jody or Ace at 2 and 6 means there'll always be a solid 2 and very good 6 in the team.

Just need to find a 2.00er who can pick up a couple of points here and there. The team looks way more balanced like this imo.

1. Charles Wright 9.11

2. Jody Scott 4.40

3. Jake Allen 6.64

4. Jake Mulford 4.56

5. Nicolai Klindt 8.73

6. Ace Pijper 4.37

7. 2.19

That team does look pretty decent. The advantage of the change is a top rider gets 5 rides a match normally, but the weakest reserve only needs 3.

So a 9.00+2.00 should score more than a 6.00+5.00?

If they went this route, Senna Summers would be my choice of reserve.

We all pay our money and we all have an opinion.

The fans called for changes ,they got one, now you don’t like it and want another one.

Perhaps some have more patience than others.

Lets face it , Bears are not strong this year and probably won’t win anything but is anything in speedway currently worth winning ?

Some of us are just thankful that Redcar produces good racing and hope that continues.

Shame as the three british youngsters are probably all exceeding expectations and they probably have the best reserve pairing apart from Poole.

Soon to have a better reserve pairing than Poole 🤭

Redcar have been a tough team to judge this year, missing a "2nd heat leader" but great reserves

Just to have my pennyworth.  Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have signed Klindt, but under the circumstances he has been  a godsend.  The last 3 weeks at home the bloke has won heats 13 & 15, ensuring the Bears have won 3 last heat deciders. What more do people want?

Don't worry all the young English guys will stay.

Number 1 will be a straight swap.

While I totally agree with what you say, and I know you are a verging “ stat” man, someone who can win heat 1 would help as well 😂. Totally agree he has been a godsend, and when Charles got injured not 1 person really disagreed that he was the best replacement available.

How about Lassa Fredricksen instead of Simon Lambert.

Would be better just taking a chance on a new face four pointer, Simon is a tryer but an end of career and Fredricksen seems to always be in crashes and can't really see any improvement in him far better to try and get a young dane or swede in if the budget allows.

IMO Lambert is better than Fredriksen & is doing an acceptable job at no 3.

Biggest question mark at the moment is what to do with Wright & Klindt?

If Fredriksen replacing Lambert left enough space for Wright & Klindt, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but that's not the case.

Ive already written it either here or another Redcar thread.

Wright and Klindt cannot ride in the same team and it will be a straight swap at 1 once Charles is ready to return. (Next week)

What makes you so certain , are you referring to the two riders over 8 point average ?

Im thinking that Nikolai already has 4 teams and Poland don’t allow that. Could be talking a load of Horlicks though. I think his Polish club was the 4th one he signed for though🤷‍♂️. So if he is dropped will he be able to sign for anyone else?. That’s my theory, will be very happy to be proved wrong, could do with 2 big hitters but we have what we have so onwards & upwards🤞

Doesn’t matter about the 8point rule now apparently that was only for team building purposes, also Workington recently signed kemp on a 8.07 so that certainly squashed the 8point ruling

Why not?

Edit, just seen your reply.

I don't believe the answer is accurate, maybe the Redcar TM made a mistake?

If that was the case, wouldn't he have had to drop a league when he signed in Poland then?

Like when Doyle dropped Sweden to return to GB.
