Considering he hadn’t ridden much in the prior couple of season he done well. could see him improving average if he stays injury free. Certainly good to watch.

Yes but not great, he did his job. Good to see the forum is open still to different views from fellow suppporters.

If Kemp doesn't come back due to foreign commitments, who would be your preferred other heat leader?

Howarth but Id be very surprised if he isn’t back at Glasgow.

also he has a polish ride next year so pretty much no chance of that.

I think any hope of Berwick aiming for ‘great’ is a bit pie in the sky personally. After all, they offer free parking, what more do people want.

How about a little respect for keeping speedway going for nearly 60 years in their remote outpost?

I think Berwick did an excellent job putting together the team they ended up with. Injuries and being let down had the bandits backs to the wall from before the start of the season. We might not have made the playoffs but the promotion and management put together an exciting and entertaining team that I and the other fans in the stands that I spoke to enjoyed watching.

And in two posts we have the feeling of a large majority of Berwick fans in a nutshell. We are happy we’ve got speedway and who cares about the outcome.

There is no craving for success despite the distinct lack of it especially the fact we haven’t made the play offs in over a decade.

So why bother trying to compete with Poole or Glasgow or anyone else for that matter? I absolutely wouldn’t blame the promotion for having that viewpoint if this is the fan feedback.
