Erik's Home PREM GSA this year was Over 9.00. Indeed. If he's capable of producing this in the Premiership, he's an absolute steal on his average in the Championship. A real trump card (as long as he's healthy). 1

Pedersen hasn't really shown that much overseas for me to think he'll be a world beater, and Hausl is a complete unknown. He could come in and perform like Nagel and take to UK tracks, or he could be another Francis Gusts and really struggle. Too many unknowns to make Glasgow favourites at this stage, but that could all change. I'd say Poole look the strongest so far (if they get Rushen), with Oxford second and Glasgow third. I can see where you’re coming from. They’re gambles, but I’m under the impression both Pedersen and Hausl are highly regarded, so hopefully that correlates in to performances and points. I know they’re not like-for-like, but how do they compare to Nagel in signing terms? Are they the more impressive acquisition, or was he? I think the owners and Brown are due credit for their team building efforts as they’ve put together a squad with a ton of potential. It’s now whether or not that translates into results. Oxford do look very good, as do Poole. Let’s hope for another season of (mostly😂) great speedway.

Killeen and Mcdiarmid should improve a bit but they all have to cover for the weak reserves. Oxford look like the best team so far and Ritchings showed at Poole that he will be an adequate reserve this year. If Mitch and Luke take another step in their development 2026 could be Oxford's year.

If so i'd keep it under lock and key if i were him. You know what Glaswegian's are like. He will have to nail it down.

As long as he's 100% healthy then he's the signing of the season before a wheel has been turned imo. Can see Riss upping his GSA by a minimum of 1.5 in 2026.

Technik
What average would Pedersen & Hausl start on? I'll assume Pedersen has experience in his homeland & has ridden in the top Danish league & the Polish U24. Hausl is only in Germany but has a Seychelles passport so like Aussies Kiwis & SA riders is from the Commonwealth.

So based on published rules is a cat 5 rider => 4 pt av in PL, 5 pt average in CL PS to qualify as a commonwealth rider wouldn't he still need a visa? And to get a visa wouldn't he have to finish in the top 3/4 of the Seychellois national championship. Edited December 19 by arnieg

With no disrespect i imagine a Honda Cub would be enough to get you on the podium of the Seychellois national championship.

Interesting scenario with Riss, if he put a point on his ave, I'd probably call that a disappointing season. Think Morris could put a point on his ave, but not 2. Oxford look to have more improvement in their averages as a whole, good team.
