eric i
Howarth in for Wright, I think Scunny can win this although Redcar have got quite a few riders that go well round the EWR. Redcar website is poor, no mention of this meeting.

Easy home win expected unfortunately but hope the Bears put up a fight.
Wee Eck
The clash of what many see as the bottom two clubs. Scunny built to win at EWR, Redcar, reeling from the loss of Charles Wright having to rely on the help of a ring rusty Kyle Howarth and the cunning of Gavin Parr. I’ll go 45-45 with Rambo getting a paid max. Or maybe 65-

Barrow Boy 2
Nice to see that most of the listed riders for this match begun their careers in The NDL
Ryan555
Nice start to the season for the Scorpions with Picko leading from the front and remaining six riders doing a solid enough job! Suspect this will be the type of scorecard that Scunthorpe will produce more often than not when at home this season!
eric i
Josh Pickering is going to be entertaining this year, he rides the bike like hes stole it. MPT was poor in 13 he could have easly made the 2mins, not very professional. The track was a a bit slick was rain expected?

The track is usually quite grippy particularly around the the fence at scunny, maybe it was prepared slick due to the early season weather / coldness. Albert
Overall, a decent meeting to start off our season... 2 or 3 exceptional races, credit to both teams for that.
scunny1
Presume MPT and team manager got a dressing down from Rob for not watching the 2 minute clock ticking down? Presentation was pretty poor, with the fan baiting from the infield somewhat tiresome and unprofessional. Once again music is loud ,but box presenter is almost inaudible.😒
Mr Bee Posted yesterday at 09:01 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:01 AM It was nice to get the season underway yesterday. It was an enjoyable meeting and a solid performance from Scunthorpe to get the win. Hopefully we can spring a few surprises this year. Good to see Connor walk away from the crash in 14. Hope he's OK. Top performance from Picko. One thing, though—please can the PA system be sorted out? You couldn't hear the announcer at all, which made it near impossible to catch the race times or any of the tactical changes. It’s hard to follow the details of the meeting when the audio is that poor. It was the same last year as well. If there is nothing wrong with the PA then please change the guy in the box announcing. It was that bad when I used to go regularly 10 - 12 years ago!

Robs splashed the bank account on Picko no money left to do the PA system. 😁
