i would go further and do what other federations insist on, riders competing fully in their own federations leagues, I like Woffinden and he is still a good rider but him Lambert and Ellis should be riding in the UK if they want to ride in the British Championship, SON, World Cup and test matches, if they those to miss the UK (which clearly is their right) then they should miss out on National Championships and World Championship qualification places as well.

I agree with your second paragraph but not the first. If they're a lot better, then they should have finished higher in the qualifier i.e. the British Final.

Some comments are suggesting that you should use current form for selecting the riders to take part in this year's GP qualifiers rather than from a meeting from last year. Yet the qualifiers from this year's GP qualifying meetings qualify for next year's GP Series. By their logic next year's qualifiers should be picked based on their form next year and not on qualifiers this year.

That's exactly how it should be, I'm not a fan of performances last season determining places for the following season, other than finishing in the top whatever in the GP qualifiers.

Is it not the case that Poland hold their qualifiers  round earlier this season though.? I if so when can everybody else.

Sure it is merely coincidence that at Glasgow the selection of Bomber guarantees a few more fans to the meeting. Seems a little strange that last years British Final determines the picks. All the same wish Bomber well.
