Jesus Christ! That was f**king horrific to watch!

Be warned, the lad is flung about 30 foot in the air at the end of the back straight, hits the terracing wall and disappears into what looks like the car park!

Don't watch if you're easily distressed.

Hope the lad recovers, apparently he's currently in a coma 16 year old Karel Prusa I think 🙏

2 different serious crashes Karel Prusa was on Friday in a flat track meeting- very serious crash as well.

He’s only 15

"The man has undergone complicated spinal surgery. He is currently in the intensive care unit and will undergo further CT scans today for further diagnosis. I can say that his condition is serious. The young player's surgery was completed after 3 a.m. ," Zuzanna Pankros, spokesperson for the Poznań hospital, told us.

"We can't provide too much detailed information, and at this point we can't even talk about any prognosis. Every hour is precious . Today's CT scan will show whether we know everything, or whether other ailments have surfaced. The situation is truly grave, and we're all keeping our fingers crossed for the young man," concludes Zuzanna Pankros.

Truly awful. The main thing is that he pulls through obviously, but this isn't good at all.

This text from Sportowefakty, translated, details how grave the situation is this morning. Keep fighting Patryk 🙏

'The player was placed in a medically induced coma before arriving at the hospital. His injuries were immediately diagnosed. It was clear from the outset that he had suffered multiple leg fractures, including open fractures, and had lost significant blood. Now we're learning that his spine was also severely damaged.

Although the hospital cannot provide detailed information, we know that at this point, every hour in the fight for Patryk Budniak's health and life is important.

I think the other rider involved was Leon Szlegiel. He was also airlifted to hospital.

He was. After being treated on track, he got up and started walking back to the pits before collapsing. The decision was then taken to airlift him to hospital.

Was at the Gneizno Slask meeting yesterday on bend one, it was the most shocking/horrific accident I've ever seen.

After initial screams and gasps from a healthy crowd the stadium went completely silent and remained so.

It was obvious immediately that the meeting would be abandoned.

From where we were it looked like poor Patryk had clipped the end of the concrete stand before descending about 30 feet.

Fair play to the Gneizno track staff though, they cleared the centre green of many hoardings in good time to allow for the arrival of the imminent helicopter.

Wishing the young lad all the best and I do hope he can make a full recovery.

Completely agree, am celebrating my 50th year this year and always hoped and prayed I never saw anything as bad as Vic Hardings crash ever again, sadly I now have. Crowd funding here if of interest. https://zrzutka.pl/dv7djc Seems to have raised 55k£ so far, will be a long and expensive recovery I think so hopefully they raise more.
