I think that was just a misreading by Fricke, Doyley was never going for a blast around the outside so early in the meeting especially on that track and was quite entitled to cut back and take an inside line into turn 3 being in front of the other 2... at least that's how I read it.

This meeting feels very similar to the recent Moto GP round at Barcelona where it got to a point where it should have just been called off after multiple incidents etc.
