marko
SCUNTHORPE: Josh Pickering, Connor Mountain, Dan Gilkes, Michael Palm Toft, Luke Harrison, Ryan Ingram, Nathan Ablitt. REDCAR: Charles Wright, Simon Lambert, Jake Mulford, Jason Edwards, Jake Allen, Ace Pijper, Jody Scott. Im looking forward to the battles between Pickering and Wright and also i think Redcar might edge it at reserve, Allen and Lambert are ex Scorpions so i like think this will be a close meeting. 1 1

NC86
Another abysmal display from Redcar apart from Wright , afraid to say that’s the season over with regard to play offs for the league , the side is just too inconsistent , you don’t win anything with one single heat leader , if the rules permit ( I don’t know) they should have kept Klindt and restructured the team to provide top end strength.

Says it all really Wright scoring so well after barely riding all season. The others? Be interesting to see what happens over the winter. *JJ
I watched this on BSN: there was some good racing, and I was really impressed with Scunthorpe's young riders, Harrison, Ingram and Ablitt.

While I agree with that, Redcar could argue they started with 1 top rider & 3 x 3rd heat leaders, but it obviously hasn't worked out. Besides Scunthorpe will make the play-offs with 1 heat leader, while Workington with a good top 3 will likely finish bottom. Last night, it was the reserves who let Redcar down, but that looks like the strongest part of the team! What's happened to Scott he started the season on fire, I know he's had a few knocks recently is he carrying an injury as in my mind early season he wasn't far off the Poole turbo teens. Must be quite inconsistent, feel like he often scores well, but average doesn't rise much.

Bagpuss
I'd be clearing everyone out apart from Wright, Scott and maybe Pjiper for 2027. Team needs a bit of freshness about it.

Easy tiger, he scored 15 for Redcar and qualified for the British Final last week!

If you bothered to read previous posts you would know that Klindt could not possibly be kept. As for restructuring the team…just how would that happen? 🤔…..there are no alternatives! To be fair that’s his worse meeting of the season , but their reserves totally dominated ours in fact their whole team scored points against a woeful bears (wright excluded) who’s been out for 4months. I like the lad Bagpuss and have followed his progress due to Lynn connections but he seemed to be putting in decent scores most nights early on in the season and as mentioned I rate him not to far behind Cairns and Rushen just wondered if a few recent knocks had dented his confidence a bit. Fozzie4388
Let's be honest everyone has their bad tracks Scunthorpe is obviously one of Scott's. Just look at Scunthorpe's team apart from Pickering, Scunthorpe is the only track some of their riders actually scored decently on. Although not sure what Palm Toft's excuse is
