Very frustrating watch that. Less said the better.

Well done to Vinnie who has had a tough season and to Niklas who deserved another ride at least. He looked as comfortable as anyone tonight, his best meeting for the Comets on a very tight track, he impressed greatly for his first time there.

Batch showed just what a professional rider he is, his equipment very rarely lets him down. Easily our best rider over the two meetings.

A wins a win, but I’ll still say running r/r for your No 1 is a big risk , I hope Workingtons no 1 is ok if he stays fit on the night who knows what could of happened,I would like to get the comets fan’s opinion on kemp as he really looked like he could not be arsed has that been a regular thing this season? Fair play to Batchelor though he gets stuck in

Kemp was good at scunny but poor tonight, seems to always have a good meeting and a bad meeting, but always seems to have bike issues in either league, where batch never seems to break down. To be more consistent bike issues need to be sorted

Well it did rain for 2 hours mid afternoon and that is where the water drains down to.  Both teams walked the track so knew what the conditions were like. We get it you don't like Scorpions with your usual bad mouthing, but we don't mind as we won and got the aggregate point! Play offs here we come.

I have seen him at Ipswich this year and he's been really good - although he wasn't great in the most recent one on Thursday scoring 7 and then you get nights like that!! 

I kind of enjoyed the meeting - good effort at the comeback from Workington - I do feel a track of that size and shape should have more passing!

Who was good, Batch and Vinny Forde for Workington along with their no 7 - he was a surprise and did well. For the home side well well done Joe T, Klina and Barker very good also. Expected more from King.

I’m a big fan of drew kemp but I’m afraid his clueless mechanic last night cost him . Gilkes was asked to remove the catch tank but his shovel hands destroyed it . In heat 13 Drew’s engine inhaled the entire catch tank and jubilee clip.
