This was money raised in the effort to bring Speedway back to Reading, which started in 2016 and lasted around 5 years. Many Reading fans donated every month during this time alongside fundraising events. It hasn't been raised since the end of last season! Having admitted defeat in the quest, it was decided Plymouth's appeal was a deserving cause.
