I wouldn’t be surprised if Leicester were to have Two GP riders in 2027 if logistics can be sorted soon ....Which would mean no Ryan Douglas then? That Top 5 would mean that Leicester have to use a No.6 on a 3. something average.

Not necessarily if said rider is allowed to return on their previous average achieved in the Premiership which only seems fair along with being good for British Speedway to have another GP rider in the UK

Douglas, Fricke and Lambert would come to over 25.00 Points.

Lukes average was 3.00 at Northampton, if he moves out of the rising star programme he would get a 25% reduction in think, could not ride at no7 and if I'm right could not return to the rising star programme for the rest of the season. The likes of Joe Thompson and Jason Edward will get the same 25% reduction as they will be to old for the programme now.

Aries Posted yesterday at 06:10 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:10 PM Surely Luke Harrison would remain in the scheme and be Leicester’s #7..

Sure Mr Dickson will make the most of that😉

Those pair are GP riders by definition only and would no doubt try to command a financial package to reflect this status. Neither of them are likely to pull up any trees (as their last UK averages would no doubt reflect). Nilsson hasn’t ridden here for a few years but Tungate was awful for Oxford a couple of seasons ago. Makes you wonder how committed they’d be with regards to having good bikes and set ups in the UK as well. The Lions management are no mugs in these situations (hopefully). Aries Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:01 PM Sounds exciting up Leicester way if things come to fruition. Harrison will be one of it not THE strongest rising star, and a spearhead of Fricke and Douglas is formidable.

FishersGate
So rumours of Harrison in the side. I do like the idea of keeping Joe T in the team though after his 25% average reduction and possibly even keeping Howarth (if he's ready). That would give Stewart big options for heat leaders.
