Did you see “Broke” last night on BBC2? One man lost his job because he didn’t turn up for work after a night out drinking and another thought he was hard done by having to renew his taxi licence for three years at the ripe old age of 59! The fact is that if you have a poor education, hand to mouth jobs, no ambition, four children and waste your money on beer, fags and tattoos, you’re going to struggle. And it’s not everyone else’s fault.

Don't see the significance at all. Council elections are totally different to a general election. I'd keep my local councillor in because he does a good job as a councillor. Why would I vote to change that to make some point or other in an election that has no relevance anywhere other than in the council chamber?

Dedicated supporters who have been going for years suddenly stop going! Ever asked yourself why?

The pound will stay stable the London financial centres and all services will see to that.People told us three years ago the country would be in a major reccession what happened??? lies and scaremongering.

we started with a Team that looked likely to struggle and made changes. Not Promotions fault Adam missed so many matches unless you believe they signed him knowing he would miss them. They are "having a go" and good to see that with better weather and better performances crowds have built up well. I'm no expert on crowds but I would think at level of last few matches we would be OK financially but if form peters out and matches get less significant worry is fans drift away. Promotion between a rock and a hard place with Championship / National League, little supporter appetite for latter not quite enough yet to be secure in Championship. I'm more confident now of next season than at any point so far - hope I'm right

Everyone has the talent to better themselves in some way, but far too many prefer to sit around moaning and blaming others for their lot. You only have to see some of the ridiculous comments on here aimed at those who have got on their bikes.

You know what, I like Boris in many ways. "Lets get rid of the negativity in the UK" - I agree, the UK seems to be "full" of doom and gloomers, all negative and nothing positive. Must be the younger generation then the one brought up in the post war years when there was nothing but something good came about. U can get back to where it was before, UK coexisted with the mainland europeans before, still do, and will do in the future. UK wants to trade with Europe, what it does not need is to be tied into a political union. Obviously the EU diplomats deem the EU to be the best thing since sliced bread. A lot of "normal" people in the Eu think differently, in the UK the numbers wanting out were greater then wanting to stay in. I am sure there will be a hit on the economy, just not any where near as bad as the doom and gloomers reckon. And there lies a problem. In 2016 the doom and gloomers were suggesting all sorts of catastrophic things will take place, some supposedly straight after the referendum. Did they happen..... Nooooo. So once massive predictions have not proved to be, trust in anymore will also not be trusted either.....that is where UK is at today, and during the time to 31st October the rhetoric will for sure be stepped up and the press will love it, they will have a field day, fueling a divided nation with more rubbish. I know many dont like Donald Trump. but he tells it as it is. Might not be "politically correct", but he is shaking up American politics and those who voted for him love it - they had enough of Clinton/Bush/Obama - they wanted a change. Boris is UK's equivalent to Trump..... he is going to do the same hopefully, tell as it is and then act on his words. He wont be liked by a lot, but if he is "allowed" to get through all this then UK could be in a better place in 20 years then now. If UK stays as it is now, I reckon UK will be in a much worse place then now.

I was there last night .Very poor crowd for a local derby which turned out to be boring . if I hadn't met up with the usual friends I would most probably have left at the interval. No atmosphere , crap track, terrible racing. Good to see Ty back on form though.

Several ferry lines- some short crossings - other longer. Stena Line operates 1 route, Gdynia to Karlskrona which runs 3 times daily. TT Line operates 1 route, Swinoujscie to Trelleborg which runs 9 times weekly. Polferries operates 2 routes, Swinoujscie to Ystad runs 19 times per week & Gdansk to Nynashamn about 7 times weekly. Some of the riders also will do Denmark on Wednesday before returning to Poland.

Surely Peterborough fans must be thanking Buster for moving Harris out to Ipswich, looking at his current form. Watching him in SON sums up where he is at now. Have to wonder now if his days are done.

Jason Doyle praising the track & work done by Dixie Dean & volunteers.... ''Credit where credits due! Swindon track staff done a great job yesterday in extreme heat to make that track not like a dust bowl. Dixie Dean & volunteers thank you. We have another good race track in England'' His words, not mine.

They are deluded that's why. They really beleive in the show they put on, and that they offer good value for money. The penny will finally drop when the stadiums are empty.

Could be attendances for 'stock cars' aka short circuit car racing in relation to those turning up for bike races determines where promotional preferences should rest?

Yes Woffinden has every right to earn and ride wherever he wants to and fair play to him.But he cant make out he is as passionate about his country for me he has not shown that.Cant be bothered to do the British Final ( we could even seed him through) he has let us down as well in the past by not riding in other international meeting's.Why does he expect to be able to call the shots for me he has not earned it.Look he is a great rider but he still is nowhere near my alltime greatest top 10 riders ever.

Good meeting, especially heat 13 with Jason riding wide on bend 2 and passing on most bends. The whole team rode well and it was pleasing to see the reserves get 11+4 between them.

Why do you have this misconception that you will not be able to go on holiday to Europe after Brexit. We're leaving the EU NOT Europe Funny how pre Common Market referendum my family and I went to Italy every summer

If do don't go you are not allowed to show an interest and are obliged to delete the sport from your life!

If he is losing money, it is his own fault. Nobody forced him to make the original team much weaker.

Another shocking effort from Robert Mueller yesterday. The sooner the Dems simply accept they lost an election and move on, the better their chances of winning the next one. It's embarassing.
