  1. Newcastle 2018

    Would love that team
  2. Newcastle 2018

So, Ashley Morris. Good signing especially if he can be a reserve
  3. Newcastle 2018

I'm always happy to watch Ludo and Robbo around the 4th bend and Morris and Bowtell at reserve would certainly be a good move.
  4. Newcastle 2018

Anyone have a list of Newcastle contracted riders?
  5. Newcastle 2018

Delighted we are running. 'Pragmatic approach' does sound like no money and a rubbish team but it's the racing, not the results I go for.
  6. Newcastle 2018

Thought he was off to Edinburgh
  7. Newcastle 2018

Lindgren the only nailed on name I would say. Would love to see Ricky Wells finally become a Diamond rather than every other teams favourite Brough Park guest
  8. Newcastle 2018

I don't think he is strong enough to turn left hard enough to be a great Brough rider.
  9. Newcastle 2018

Lasse Bjerre is not fond of Brough Park and people are remembering the Rene Bach of years ago. Far too big a risk for me.
  10. First visit to Glasgow. What a cracking stadium to watch speedway. Good atmosphere, close to the track, excellent Scotch pies. Couldn't have asked for anything more other than a third Diamond to turn up.
  11. Cook's pass of Lambert and Worrall in Ht13 was worth the admission money alone. Wow! With this team, we should not get thrashed anywhere but we won't hand out too many hidings either as we will be giving up too many 3-3's, even at home.
  12. Redcar 2017

Great to hear that our nearest and dearest are looking upwards this season. Good luck for 2017, apart from when the Diamonds are in town, of course.

Decent team from a results point of view and I'm delighted that we have two of the most entertaining riders to watch in Lambert and Lindgren. To the Kus fans can I just say that Lindgren didn't cost us any chance of cup by falling off on the parade lap. Hope Kus gets fixed up elsewhere but he was not a rider I enjoyed watching. Major issue would be any loss of a top 5 rider early in a meeting and any extended use of r/r but you can't build a team around what might happen. Top 6
