  1. Cardiff & Swansea both play in the English Football League so there would be no need for separate federations for speedway
  2. You should have no problem at all with seeing the racing. The Chapman's have done a brilliant job with the stadium and the view is a massive plus point pretty much anywhere in the stadium Just like to add Regarding choosing a venue. It's strictly down to the clubs to bid and organise the events and the FIM / BSI committee to choose the best bid for the event. The BSPA have no say in the venue at all.
  3. Let me know the last time we won a group to go straight through to the final when our semi final was on an EL track then Steve 'The EL Snob' Shovlar.

    Cardiff Grand Prix

Never had you down as an AC/DC fan mike. You certainly don't look the sort
  5. I have to say, I feel very sorry for Mr Vasey. It was only a matter of time before he blew his top on this forum. I've had disagreements with the fella but ya just let it be and move on but some members can't help themselves to pounce on every Stoke thread just to get a reaction out of Malcolm. Friendly bullies & stalkers is what I'd call some. Malcolm does get on his high horse quite a bit yes, that's only because thats his opinion yet just because he's a team manager who's happy to come on this forum an express his views people have to nit pick and antagonise him. One thing this forum has been crying out for is promoters, team managers & riders to participate on this and I have to say, you can see why they don't. I would like to keep seeing Malcolm continue posting even though he isn't in my opinion always right but neither is anyone else and myself.
  6. Agree, no way will Mcgowan or Doolan be anywhere near getting in the team. I see nobody has mentioned Ty Proctor. Now thats a young lad that deserves a go at No 5 and is superb round the Norfolk Arena 1, Holder 2, Watt 3, Batchelor 4, Ward 5, Proctor All have relatively recent experience of racing at the Norfolk Arena
  7. Nothing like a good stir is there. Buster has managed to put in new concrete standing terrace between turns 3 & 4, putting in new lighting in between turns 1&2 & 3&4 all gust for the the GP event. Every week he's on the mike speaking excitedly about next week. This was part of his dream to hold an FIM event when he took over the club. He'd love to have a GP but knows that's way out of budget at the moment (unless he gets Lynn FC in the Premier League ) and the FIM have to pay rent for the event so of course there will be unexpected requirements but thats part and parcel of holding these things
  8. That is bloody good if the case but Tom always puts 100% in for the Stars. Same a certain team mate couldn't have the same determination. As for tonight, don't wright Kozza off, he'll give it his all and he does tend to thrive when up against the so called bigger names

    Polish Extraleague Sunday 4th July

This meeting has thrown some better racing in than the first meeting but so far looks as though Zielona Gora may get a hiding. Can I ask our Polish friends, what is with the Micky Mouse on the race bibs??????

    Ben Barker Vip Experience

Never met ya Gemini but you should have a bit more self respect than that
  14. I my opinion I hope the FIM / BSI sanction bans to those riders for being completely pathetic little children. Rules and reg change all the time and throwing ya toys out the pram isn't the answer.
  15. Great point actually. Why not have a massive band???? Cardiff GP only attracts 40,000ish, thats 20,000 short of capacity due to 10,000 taken up by the mesh round the lower seating and if they booked someone like the Stereophonics and gave them an hour slot those extra seats would be gone in no time.
  16. See, this is what gets my fricking goat. The WTC shouldn't at the end of the day be about money. These events should be about pride of wearing your national badge. Just like football (team England my ass) they're showing it's all about themselve and not their country.
  17. I'm being dead serious here, I hope you make him pay for everything that weekend. If not I'd seriously consider dropping him off at Somerset and then come home again
  18. Don't be silly. It's in accordance to rule 1099.34.000011.2 don't ya know
  19. Tell her that the 7bridge has been closed to the public as it's such a massive event and you'll have to catch a park & ride from The Oak Tree (a none speedway fan wouldn't know what or where that is). Then, when you roll up Friday evening there just happens to be another speedway meeting on. If that fails, handcuffs and sticky tape tends to do the trick

    Polish Ekstraliga Sun 16 May

The track man should be sack there, I no tracks need to be watered to keep the dust down but that's taking the pee a little isn't it!!!!
  25. Awful, awful, awful meeting last night. Track was prepared the slickest I've probably ever seen it which I called at the start of the meeting as a gate & go track, which is exactly what was served up to a disappointed paying public. Couple of nasty looking crashes which I hope all are OK but when a National League rider provides most of the entertainment & track reserve at that it just shows how poor it was last night. I could have walked out after the first 8 heat but as always stuck around in hope that it would get better. It didn't I'm sooooo looking forward to the World Cup meeting now, NOT
