There in lies the problem, comparison to Poland. British Speedway will never ever get to, or even come close to their level. Poland are rightly so, looking to a 1 club model alongside SEC, SGP & World Cups. They have an extensive amount of dollar to keep rider's tied down. The UK, Sweden, Denmark & to a point Germany can only ever be a feeder to Poland's top 2 tiers. We have to accept & embrace that. Instead of being angry, we should be proud of our lads being over in Poland achieving (or atleast trying to) those levels of the sport. For British Speedway, we want to keep, and increase the number of clubs we already have. Also steadily build the numbers that come through the turnstiles. We CANNOT currently hold riders down to 1 league as it's just not financially viable. Doors will close, and rider's lost forever. Without being too political, the white man demographic is shrinking at an alarming rate in this country, it's a problem also in other major European countries. Do you want to guess which country is economically stronger than ever and heavily restricts asylum?? People don't like to see it but these things do go hand in hand. How many black and brown are on the terraces in UK Speedway?? It matters to our sports future.

Guests is a necessary evil but the solution I've suggested for years is the simplest and fairest way forward. All guests must be from the lower league & not have a team spot in the Premiership. All guests must have an average equal or lower than the No7. If guests are required they come in at No7 and everyone else moves up in the team. What that also does, is speed up the process in finding injury replacements as teams get away with it for to long using better inform guest rider's than the guy injured. 1 missing R/R or guest at No7 2 missing R/R and guest at No7 3 missing, meeting postponed. It should be a ruling that meetings can only proceed if teams have 5 or more riders available from their official declaration. If meetings get cancelled due to availability, 2 league points are deducted.

Nobody, especially new fans would give a 💩 Doubling-Up is a nonsense argument in making the sport look 'Mickey Mouse'. There's no promotion / relegation so there is zero 'conflict of interests'. Guests have been and always will be a necessity of this sport. British Speedway doesn’t have the finances to run Polish type squad systems so that's a no no. This sport has far more important problems than some riding in multiple leagues. As far as I'm concerned, riding in the Premiership & Championship is no different to riding Premiership and Elitserien, it's still 2 different leagues with no conflict on each other.

Shame they'd gone with 60s imagery. More modern imagery might get someone to search the sport up but that's obviously not weatherspoons responsibility to sell the area.

Speedway is absolutely better suited to a highlights reel. Cuts out all the 💩 and a whole meeting can be covered in just 30mins with best race highlights from other fixtures from that week. With all the gaps / delays in live meetings, the sport doesn't lend itself to modern society and new fans. Majority of U30s today cannot cope with nothingness and 15 minutes of action over a couple of hours just will never cut it. Speedway in general is a sport in a real tough spot regardless of the moves it tries to make. There has to be a major focus on speeding up heats and/or adding extra races. Selling Speedway to new observers, sponsors & media is a seriously tough job.

What is wrong with people?? Some seriously weird behaviour. Wishing the Premiership dead, hoping the Championship will suffer etc. These people are basically hoping for the suffering of clubs and their fans. What kind of psychopathic mentality are these people on???

That's kind of my point. It's possible some rider's can earn more riding in the Championship over the Premiership. If they still get a gig in Poland it's not guaranteed rider's will pick the Premiership as TTT seems to think.

That's just Dan T. Absolutely no chance Lawson, Pickering, Masters etc are riding on Rising Star money in the Championship.

Depends what rider's want. Even if they sign in Poland, they may still prefer the Championship over the Premiership due to the number of fixtures and weekend fixtures if they're not picked by their Polish club. The Premiership won't get it all their own way for sure.

Why would it be a drop? Depending how you want to build a team, you can have a 4.00-4.50 at No7 & it doesn't have to be a Brit. The Premiership should be the pinnacle of British Speedway, not a fast track for the bang average. If young Brits want to reach the top, try averaging 7+ at Championship level first. Rising Stars in the Premiership has been a failure. Don't forget the 25% given to the RS's, if all got re-employed in 2027, it would be an increased to team strength, not a decrease.

Correct, I'd set the 40.00 for all 1-7, removing the Rising Stars for me is a must in 27.

2027 (Premiership continuing) will be an important season for the fans. Think there is an important list of rider's to avoid. Freshening up is of huge importance. Iversen, Klindt, Cook, Kvech, Lawson are the few that shouldn't be in contention. obviously it's a huge ask but I'd like to see all the stops pulled out for a return of Robert Lambert. If they can, Fricke remaining also and try and get Lidsey as 3rd heatleader.

Take Doyle out for Lambert and I'd pretty much take that as a team. As a King's Lynn fan, keeping Rushen is obvious. But, if I was managing Cooper, I'd be asking the management their 2027 plans now, saying my lad wants better riders and I'd absolutely be on the phone to Belle Vue daily to get him the gig there in 27.

What do you want as fans?? Rider's you want to keep, re-sign and who you'd never want to see in Stars colours ever again?? Keep or scrap 'Rising Stars'? What's you current dream 1-7 (40.00)? Realistic 1-7 (40.00)? What you think the club would do (40.00)?

The track being different week by week is irrelevant imo. That in itself should make meetings more entertaining - a level playing field shouldn't it?? We've all seen the social media videos of passing around the AFA. Most probably being Rushen & Harris so what does that say? When you have a 60yo & 10yo providing entertaining it's evidence passing is possible, it's about 'wanting it'. King's Lynn absolutely is about risks. King's Lynn certainly could do with having at least 5 loose cannons in the team, wild and aggressive mentality. For me, it's certainly what the management should look at for 2027. Even looking back to our 2nd tier teams, they were often loaded with attacking, aggressive rider's. My call to the King's Lynn management would be simple, "mentality monsters". The No1 & No5 safe & silky, everyone else, hungry & aggressive. That's the ingredients for success around King's Lynn.

Deliver that, wouldn't that benefit Cook & Kvech also?? Yet, when another club suffers injuries they manage to find someone. And needed capability is subjective. If you've got a team not delivering at least be entertaining. If you have riders happy to sit in position on track if they miss the start, get rid. I'd much rather see a 5 pointer risking life or death every week that someone being a 7 pointer and not bothering. What's the point in Fricke, Cook and Kvech to be losing at home anyway?? To fans, 100% blood and guts and they would love them. Effort count for everything.

Who is at fault for that?? It's not up to Fricke as to whether he is employed or not. This management accepts failure for as long as fans keep turning up. No rider can be accountable, change is the responsibility of the management.

Well, it's the hope that kills you, isn't Stars fans?? So, what's your opinion on the season?? Whose to blame?? What's the future?? _________________________ In terms of blame & future, King's Lynn is a club just existing. That's it, existing. This management has a clear proven record of not even trying. Giving fans zero hope or giving anything back. Year after year it's a clear take, take, take message from King's Lynn Speedway with the full understanding that you'll all be back next year anyway to sup up more pain. There will be a time when fans turn on their heels & say "fack you". It's coming. Let's be frank here. 2026 is an embarrassment. Ipswich's existence was dead almost right up to March but yet they still managed to scrape a team together to still be better than King's Lynn. The only blame for that is King's Lynn's management, refusing to be aggressive & removing poor performance.
