Cooper's average doesn't change the whole teams average, it's individual as a new rider. I think the confusion is people still think Castagna is currently 4.22, he isn't. He's already 3.82 as of 1st June but hasn't ridden since to update the rolling average. Any replacements for Castagna will already be poor / risky change. Is it worth giving Castagna the reserve birth or make the change is the question? If it's change, it has to be NOW before he returns from injury & possibly lower his average further, even at No6.
-
Cooper's average change is irrelevant, Castagna needs replacing before 1st July or any changes become impossible thereafter.
-
The change HAS to be made quick sharp if King's Lynn has any hope of challenging. The side is currently running at 39.04. It absolutely needs a Castagna replacement ASAP.

Name a club where the attendance is rising year on year over the last decade? Or even maintained the numbers year on year? Belle Vue, the best track in the UK, the most modern facilities, in a major, modern city, they struggle for 2000. Over the past 10-20-30 years the bodies across the board, are finding something else once winter arrives or they're just brown bread. Especially when you move from junior/teen to full paying adult, many don't bother returning.

Lions vs Witches PL R1 11/06/2026 19:30 OFF!

Absolute disgrace. Should have been given till atleast 3pm tomorrow before the call-off. Leicester should be investigated. I wouldn't be going anyway, in fact I'd never be going to this but on the British Speedway Forum, my opinion, and only my opinion matters. Proper shady this?!? Hopefully the BSPL award Ipswich the 3 points. -
There's no other club out there even close to your lot 🤣👍🏻

There's definitely a mentality of kick King's Lynn at every opportunity right now. Even when right. I've said many times, why should clubs take huge financial hits when the weather, even predicted, looks dreadful?? With the awful state this sport is in, early call-offs are now (and should be) the norm across the country.

Looking at the numbers Mitch fits with ease. As it stands; 1 more home & 2 away, it looks like Rushen will move to No2. 2H 2A & Scott (when fit) would also move to No6. Castagna/McDiarmid would be at No7. McDiarmid is definitely the best option out there for the 1/7 greensheets but is that to late for change?? If King's Lynn want to make changes, they'll need to be where Rushen & Scott remain reserves & currently, to do that is replacing Cook, Castagna & Scott & declaring Rushen as RS, the risk there is the replacements could be even worse. I can't see that happening, plus, the team starts to look in a lot of trouble if the reserves start making the main body of the team already, it's way to soon for them. It highlights there's something seriously wrong. King's Lynn look like they're in a rock n' a hard place right now. Either, accept our youngsters in the main body or a team rebuild, can't see the latter. On paper, this team should be strong but something just isn't happening. Gating? Speed? Team bonding?

It's not just up to Woffinden to retire, it's also the choice of the clubs. If they're willing to put contracts in front of him and the numbers are decent, why would he say no? There are always at least 2 options available.

Maybe but not intentionally anyway. The major difference even from a decade ago is an awful lot are not on their footrests, it's their flailing legs that makes them look busy on the bike. Many argue they can react better to direction change off the footrest & it's easier to get off the machine if it lifts. As been mentioned before, a lower Horse Power, lower RPM, increased Torque would see riders more controlled & back on their footrests. The issue for me (especially in Poland) is that Zmarzlik has become the Poster-Boy for that 'Wild Style' and riders of significantly lower ability think they can do the same without mastering the basics.

You certainly have to admit this guy is built different. It's like he enjoys pain.
-
Wouldn't look good?? It would be an absolute disgrace to the sport.

A retired King's Lynn Star that looks in from afar, with the occasional away meeting, I have you know. Keeping Buster balls warm in the palm of my hand on a cold summers evening has long past sir 🤗 -

Was the same, but I've unblocked everyone. Miss out on so much funny stuff, especially the angry responses. It's funny seeing people have a breakdown over nothing. -

Couldn't care less. When being a fully grown adult, moderation shouldn't be necessary. Just take responsibility for your own actions. Those who respond & keep doing so are far greater of a problem than the initial poster. -

If you believe that you'd be way off. That mentality would see the end of British Speedway. We've to many rider's earning abroad & using British Speedway as top-up. -

Just scroll past, you don't have to read it. It's not difficult to ignore. Let's not forget that British Speedway is a joke & a laughing stock, so why think a forum would be any different?? If the custodians of our sport can't be serious, why should fans?? Just be excited that Sunderland, Newcastle & Middlesbrough could be all in footballs top flight in 2026/2027 -

I just can't believe how so many get wound up by a single poster. It says far more about those people than a wind up merchant. -

We go through this every year. Regardless of possible underhand reasoning, what is it Speedway fans want?? We see hundreds of comments of ban RR / guests, makes the sport a joke. Then there's moaning (rightly so imo) that meetings are called off for rain from 5-8pm. People need to stop being selfish pr!cks and realise the financial implications just for fans alone. There are 100s of fans at King's Lynn that it's costing £40-£80 round trip for these meetings. Taking whole / half day holidays from work Absolutely, 100%, calling a meeting a day before is beneficial for the wider public, regardless of reason -
Hampel is a strange one for me, seen some exceptional overtakes from him at League & GP level. If Hampel is included then Hancock would be also wouldn’t he?? For me, the biggest gating slag I'd ever seen was Adam Allott around King's Lynn. Never seen anyone like it.
