  1. I'm sure Kelvin would agree with that, absolute porn heaven
  2. Tai has shown his true colours. Next years TeamGB should not include him in it Judas
  3. The positive is that we only lost out by 5 points to get in the final to a full strenght Swedish team
  4. I believe it's attitudes like yours as to why British teams constantly get held back, always pulling at the negatives.
  5. I think all our lads gave everything. Really couldnt ask for more than that. I now hope to keep things rolling we can put some test matches together. PROUD TO BE A TEAM GB FAN TONIGHT Unlucky lads
  6. Ya can't write the Danes off yet, only 3 points in it. I am soooooooo proud of our boys. COME ON ENGLAND, COME ON ENGLAND (sorry, I mean GB honest)
  7. You need to do some homework, Harris wasn't really top scorer as one of his rides was a double pointer, so, in real money, Danny King finish with 9 & Harris with 8. I'm almost certain King would have scored an extra point but for an EF in his last one
  8. You've kinda hit the nail on the head unintentionally really Lets have a look at this little list of team sports here. Football Cricket Rugby Basketball Baseball (Rounders to us) Hockey Polo Just a few above Please highlight any that you think where all the teams us there best players all the time in the biggest of events thought so, there isn't one. The thing is, people seem to mistake speedway as an individual sport even when it's a team event & having all the best players & riders in the same team doesn't mean you'll be a great team. Even Poland didn't have their "best team available" last night and they won the event. They were all stuck together like glue. Moral, bonding, being together, fitting in, putting yourself out for others. As the the saying goes, Together Each Achieves More. This is what a team avent is all about and if anyone knows Rob Lyon just a little bit will know this is what he's trying to create in the GB camp and I really don't think Nicholls fits that roll.
  9. I have to say, the final should be at P'boro after tonight, can't see the race off and final getting close to tonights meeting for edge of ya seat stuff
  10. That is how he prepares the tracks in King's Lynn and the away riders can't hack it
  11. To all thoughs who slatted Lyon's appointment & team selection may be a little quiet tonight
  12. Maybe I was a little to strong with my wording and they've closed it down. I know It's early doors, but yet to have a reply
  13. Just go onto www.speedwayGP.com an bombard then with complaints on their contact us section I've done mine
  14. Seeing as the World Cup race off and final is on the same track as last night, lets hope we don't qualify as we'll get dicked like the last time it was there. Nicholls and Harris are, well, what Nicky Pedersen said the ref was in his interview
  15. I've mulled over this for weeks and as a King's Lynn fan I didn't want to say this but I feel Rob Lyon has already made his first mistake. And that was naming Nicholls as captain. That already states, it doesn't matter how bad he rides, he's first pick, and that's wrong. Any captain should be a rider on form and someone for the younger riders to look up to. Nicholls is neither of though's i'm affraid
  16. This may be a little extreme but if I was running the GP series this is how I get the qualifiers, just bare with me here. Now, we all know that the GP tracks are available for a Friday & Saturday. At the moment there are 11 round, Slovenia Poland Sweden Denmark Great Britain Czech Republic Sweden Latvia Poland Italy Germany + Australia (Hopefully in 2009) Could it not be possible to stage a GP qualifier on the friday afternoon repair the track and then GP practice in the evening ready for Saturday. So, the qualifiers for this would be each National Champion (or second, third or fourth place rider if the riders ahead have already qualified for the GP being in the top 13) and the World Under 21 Champion and the bottom 3 from the previous GP series. The top 3 from the GP Qualifiers would progress to the world stage. It would go something like this Friday GP Qualifiers 16 riders 20 heats Top 8 qualify for Saturday GP Practice Saturday Pre meeting GP Qualifiers Semi Final's & Final Then the usual GP series
  17. I'd like to see a test match against Ivory Coast or someone like that. We'd atleast see our boys win for a change.
  18. Something that a mate said to me last night. Our team was picked on the basis of having Coventry track specialists and three of them are still riding for them this year. Where are Coventry in the EL, that's right, second from bottom. Not a great start for picking a team is it?????? If they were such track specialist they would have home averages over 10 each.
  19. GB have no chance in the world cup. Harris and Nicholls are utter rubbishe against average riders
  20. I agree with most, this has to be the only 5 to be concidered use in the World Cup. Nicholls Harris Rico Kennett Woffinden If any of the riders don't perform then I'd only throw Bridger in there.
  21. Complete racing incident Gollob was coming across lining up going into the corner which he has every right to do as he was leading the race and AJ was looking for the outside run on Gollob but was carring to much speed and clipped Gollobs back wheel. No blame of anyone in my opinion, just racing All the best to AJ
  22. Well, ya know us English are too lazy to learn another language Hope the meetings have been entertaining. It's a bloody long day though. Is is a public holiday over there or something to have the first meeting at 1300hrs?????
