    Plymouth Gladiators 2024

By your own admission, no rules were broken; so there was no ‘abuse of the rule book’. Whether the rules adequately deal with such a situation is a different matter.

    Edinburgh Monarchs Academy 2024

This isn’t a one-off adjustment, the seasonal points limit has been increased. NATIONAL Development League clubs have unanimously agreed to a slight increase to this season’s points limit. The mark had been set at 36 following the third tier’s AGM last November, but it has now been raised to 36.25.

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

There is no conjecture. I have explained the situation, as a Peterborough Club Promoter at the time, you will not get anything more definitive.

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

Absolutely not. Peterborough Speedway would have raced on in the Championship in 2019 under Ged’s ownership if the sale of the Club to Keith Chapman hadn’t gone through. The Club was well run, profitable and successful and in no danger whatever.
  6. There is no such rule, the minimum three ride rule applies to a rider and it is up to the team manager to allocate the RR rides and any reserve switches to the best advantage.
  7. Almost any ride! SR 012.4.4 f) A rider nominated as an AR may, at the Team Managers discretion, take any ride at any time in heats 1-14, apart from the protected riders position in heats 2 and 8. Whilst the minimum ride rule does not apply, the maximum number of rides is 7.
  8. The eight-day rule doesn’t apply to the Home No 1 position
  9. No such rule to my knowledge
  10. Yes, it would affect the guest for Woffinden as the same rider couldn't guest tomorrow and next Thursday for Sheffield at Owlerton - maybe a different guest will be used tomorrow to free up a preferred guest for the final? Lambert for Musielak is fine as per previous posts.
  11. As long as the revised Green Sheets from 1st October permit it - yes!
  12. SR 15.9 refers to the ban. SR 13.3 gives the NDLRC priority over higher fixtures.

    Peter Morrish RIP

Peter was the NDL co-ordinator for many years. A lovely man, gentle and kind.

    Guess Who?

    Jan Staechmann?
  17. Once again, astute use of the rule book - that still doesn’t make it a false average.
  18. If a rider’s average is produced in accordance with the rules and approved by the BSPL it isn’t a false average. Astute team managing in my opinion.

    Play-off picks

SR012.1.1b Championship League Championship League, teams will meet on 2 occasions, 1 home and 1 away. The top 6 clubs qualify for the play offs going into 2 groups of 3. The team who finishes top will select their 2 group members, the other 3 Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 116 qualifying clubs make up the second group. The winners of each group will contest a 2 legged final home and away with the aggregate winner being crowned the Championship League Champions. A rider who’s team is not in the play offs may only guest for one team in each group of the play offs. Excluding the final. A rider may only guest for one team in any 2 legged tie (home and away). SR012.4.5 Tactical Substitute (TS) Is not applicable in a 2 legged tie. 012 1.1b Restricts guests to riders from the bottom three clubs. each individual rider from those three Clubs can guest in both mini-leagues but for one Club only in each mini-league. 'Excluding the final'? I think this resets the clock and allows any rider eligible to guest to ride for a team in the final regardless of whether they guested for that particular club in the mini-leagues. 012.4.5 Permits Tactical Substitutes in the mini groups but not in the Grand Final.

    SGP 2023 Round 4 question

Dan Bewley was excluded from his semi-final, Lambert's 0 takes precedence over Bewley's X.

    Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)

In my opinion every rider should be tested at every meeting.
