Stiltonpanther 338 Posted April 29, 2016 I am coming up for this one and incorporating it with a visit to friend's. I am staying at the Premier Inn at Bearsden. Can someone tell me how far I am from the track ? As for the meeting we will do well to get a point so predict Glasgow 48 Panthers 42.

damosuzuki 696 Posted April 29, 2016 If you are parking the paid parking is 5 mins from the track (signposted) £2 or you can park in the street opposite. Rain may not win
MD 1,307 Posted April 29, 2016 Forecast to be around 7 degrees with a bit of rain forecast for Sunday. Prepare the track as deep as it was last week and we'd better have extra air fence panels ordered. Looking forward to this one and hopefully giving both sets of riders a circuit for racing. Pogo1 288 Posted April 29, 2016 Hope the weather plays ball as it should be a cracker. Noticed that Peterborough have ordered tons of new shale at the riders request and are blaming that on there last two home defeats If it's grippy as last week hopefully R Lawson can have another go at the track record after last weeks fastest time of the season. Was interesting to hear in the bar afterwards that Barker and Garcia thought the track was too slick last week lol Yeah let's get it back to being slick so we can watch a gating contest!!! The mounds of dirt gathered at the bottom of the fence of the third and fourth bends after a couple of heats suggest it was overly deep. No one wants a gating contest but likewise heats where the leader races off into the sunset being so fast the rider behind has no chance of catching them. Pinny 2,536 Posted April 29, 2016 Good to see Glasgow going well, always follow their results here from down under! Bet paulco is loving it 🍻 All it needed was for one of garcia, lunna or ayres to click and it seems garcias flying atm.
plf 1 Posted April 29, 2016 why are other Glasgow greats like Steve Lawson and Kenny McKinna not in the invited guests for the 70 years celebrations. They were along with James Grieves our top point scorers

Bet paulco is loving it All it needed was for one of garcia, lunna or ayres to click and it seems garcias flying atm. Exactly. All this talk of Glasgow being top heavy doesn't take account of such as Garcia going well and racking up points, and that the other two in their bottom three are also decent riders for their respective positions. More of a concern for Glasgow at the moment seems to be injury to Worrall.
