Guest GiveusaB Posted August 24, 2017 Does anyone know if the 8 day rule is still in place?
teaboy279 1,038 Posted August 24, 2017 Yes it is, no rider can guest at the same track within 8 days, except a guest number 1.

Dickie Head 247 Posted August 24, 2017 But this is the National League so almost anything goes if your face fits.

WalterPlinge 657 Posted August 25, 2017 But this is the National League so almost anything goes if your face fits. I'd say it's more the top two leagues where "anything goes if your face fits". The NL promoters do actually seem to regulate themselves far better than the top league bosses. Pretty sure we haven't seen the 8 day rule (or any guest rules) flouted all season in the NL... Not sure the rules have always been strictly applied in PL & CL.
Guest GiveusaB Posted August 25, 2017 You can have R/R for over 2/3's of a season though in the NL.....just ask BV !
