The bit about him not stamping on Barker could be true, hard to see with the camera angle, but he purposely rode into him, hard to deny that.

Rather than nowadays where "Owners" would be a much more suitable name.. The real "Promoters" knew that getting locals to attend regularly wasn't always the major priority, (if they did then great), instead fhey wanted volume every week, even if some fans only visited once... The logic being that that even that one visit meant that person knew that the sport existed, and keeping the team in the local public awareness meant more chance of more visits further down the line.. In short, the more who read about you, the more who know about you, and therefore, the more likely they are to take a look at what you do... Todays Social Media world would be seen as perfect by some of the "old school" operators of yesteryear.... (If they avoided getting banned!!!)...

Yep I started going late 84 and from memory Lee made comeback 1985 the odd flashes of his brilliance seem to remember he beat peak Gunderson on his first meeting back but after that his reliability was dreadful probably not helped by us having a super weak team at the time either.

To me having watched the stream last night, Harris did nothing wrong during the race but he certainly did after the race. He rode straight across him after the race after Barker had obviously said something, maybe in Cornish! Apparently Barker has said Harris was fined. Harris is trying to excuse himself from all blame on Facebook.
