I’d say the two guests make us slightly stronger at Birmingham, just need a similar performance to last Thursday -

These lads know that they are doing the UK promoters the favour by starting the season with them... And also know that they are bomb proof regardless of performance levels as there isn't anyone willing to come over and replace them.. As. If they were available they would already be here.. A nice little earner without any pressure to deliver the goods, unlike their other job... "It's much more fum and less pressured".... Indeed...

Only been riding a 500 for 2 months and firs t match in the UK on what was a tricky track today, patchy and bumpy. Tired as the meeting went on was struggling badly with arm pump. Should improve as the season goes on and adjusts. No pressure for him to score points in the championship we’ve not had anyone scoring there all season anyway. -

Just Saying.....I would be very surprised if you see Ben Cook riding at King's Lynn anymore this season....Just something I heard in my Hotel in Manchester yesterday evening, and the source seriously couldn't be more reliable.....But its Speedway in the UK..So who knows -

A very different story to the post match summary from his Polish team manager who stated there was almost no sign of the injury and rhythm would return with more riding..... -

Zagar is ill. He said on TV that he is struggling with 39.4C fever and has been replaced by Fraser Bowes in the last 2 rides for Tarnow. Doubt he will be there on Monday. - Today

For clarity they had booked Kildemand weeks ago before Cook had even had a practice to see how his wrist was. But agree with the rest. He obviously wants to ride in Poland but not the UK at the moment and it's a good question why he had five rides today. He will clearly get banned if he rides in Poland again and then miss the next Lynn fixture after that (BV away on Monday 23rd). Lynn aren't at home for three weeks after tomorrow, I'm guessing he and Leszno don't want him to ride on the grippy Lynn track until then at the earliest. Bottom line though is if he has a doctors note after today then there's not a lot anyone can do. I really hope we see him again and it's not another Museilak situation as Ben comes across as a genuine and honest fella.

time will tell ???

Thats poor from SCB should have given him a ban.

If we could get a rider to replace him permanently then I definitely would!! I agree it stinks to high heaven! If you don’t want to ride for the Stars anymore then don’t, just let the club know ffs! He’ll leave us hanging on and hanging on then not come back, then we will be even more screwed than we already are! 😠 -
Given that King's Lynn had already booked / announced a guest before Cook "re-injured" his wrist, the whole thing absolutely stinks! Also as Leszno won 60-30, if Cook was struggling with his wrist why did he go out in the nominated races?

Surprised Kent continue with these Sunday 12 noon starts. Surely too early in summer heat and when some fans will have a long journey. 5pm would allow heat of day to subside and give more time for track prep. -
No worries.... Those Polish doctors are magnificent.... They get the riders fit time and time again, when the UK ones can't...
