  1. Past hour
  2. Don’t think he will, think promoters are better signing young riders on 2.00 and giving them a chance,Starke won’t get better than a 4.00 average unless he’s out at no7 all year and I can’t see any team doing that.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Looking at other teams up to now i think redcar have the best reserves
  5. I think Cooper will be a better rider than william cairns but its a shame hes chosen poole to learn on as there track is not the best to race on. he must have gone for money so i hope hes good at gating lol
  6. Will Simon lambert not fit its been said hes is not going back to scunthorpe
  7. Nah ya alright!!!! knudsen 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  8. I manage to get my Speedway Star in Asda , usually can get it on a Thurs or Fri at the latest. If left to Royal Mail we'd probably get sense from the AGM before my next copy arrives. Having worked in the media industry - B2B and consumer mags , I am surprised that the magazine hasn't gone totally digital. Would guess more about the demographic of the readership but if postage costs keep rising and circulation drops don't be surprised it moves into the digital remit. Certainly an opportunity for a speedway website or app simlar to the PGE Ekstraliga version.
  9. Facebook Poole vido revel if not blocked a new 007
  10. Anders wasn't so great after groin injury, and Cook got better after Belle View commitments ended. Yes seems that bit has to have worked out well for Poole. Yes the reserves have bags of potential but at this moment aren't the best in the league, look to Redcar's Ace Pijper and Jodi Scott for that. Kerr will of course need to sort his mechanicals. Gilkes has sound potential, Bowes not so sure but should at least hold his own. Lawson well just have to hope he can maintain his high level, because Poole replied heavily upon him last year. But all in all Pirates should be right up there, but all the clean sweep type talk I'm not so sure.
  11. I think we need to forget all this nonsense about extra teams because it ain't going to happen. Unfortunately the Premiership is like the cockroach that has been stood on but is desperately scuttling around the floor looking for survival. Logical thinking required here, why would any right minded businessman or persons invest in a dying sport? It ain't happening so people need to deal with it. One league is the only way forward and I believe eventually it will be forced upon the powers that be.
  12. 😂 The joys of this forum on a mobile - double posts! Edited to say nothing, but at least not a double post!
  13. Dag Lovaas? Has he not retired yet? Bound to be a 9 average
  14. No need to mention heeps he's well passed it
  15. 🥱 Are Workington and Scunthorpe trying to out do each other as to who can be last to name their team?!
  16. He's got potential, riding for a Wednesday track at Oxford didn't work. Don't know if Saturday's would be any better. Not a great many options on that average (if they don't go the Cook route) Cameron Heeps? Declan Kennedy? Or Kennedy instead of Bowtell?
  17. Fair play to the Ford's they have done it again they have got two of the best UK prospects on false averages, one of the best riders in the league in Lawson, Cook should crack on further and is destined for bigger things, Gilks if he stays injury free should improve. I've never really rated Kerr although he is brave as they come but he's one of these riders who can score 3 -13 on any given night, Bowes I don't know much about but if anyone can get improvement out of him its the Fords. I know they are marmite but they run a tight ship at a profit most years but where they are masters is getting riders in on false averages. It was pretty obvious last year whoever got Cairns in so long as the other six weren't dog awful should win the league. Although I would have loved to have seen him the other teams must be heaving a sigh of relief Bailey isn't riding over here as in my opinion that lad is the best aussie prospect since Darcy Ward I reckon if he came in on four he would have ended up on six or seven at seasons end.
  18. Knudsen is another who doesn't turn up all the time
  19. How about a strength in depth team? Jonas Jeppersen - 8.20 Troy Batchelor - 7.10 Tate Zischke - 5.76 Francis Gusts - 5.49 Jonas Knudsen - 5.05 Alfie Bowtell - 4.65 Vinnie Foord - 3.69 Total - 39.94
  20. Would be a good signing imo. Didn't like Oxford, but better elsewhere.
  21. What about Gusts big track should suit him, if he can be strong armed to turn up most of the time.
  22. I think Max Perry is a fair bit better than Sam McGurk was. Actually averaged better away from home, so if he finds a track he prefers to Glasgow, could progress even more? Looking at his Northside scores, he's had 2 good matches at development level, but not rode at Champ level yet, surprisingly.
  23. Well I assume she'd be on a 3.00 ave now the rules have changed?
