Good luck to the comets boys. Big performance needed from the 4 comets and trigger. Be hard for Morley but fair play to him. Suppose this short notice be hard to get a rider to travel all the way down to Plymouth. -
As the captain of the Titanic said about the iceberg. [There was no drone at Cardiff in 2023 because it crashed in practice]

With a team built around having a strong reserve, what could possibly go wrong? 😉

Absolutely spot on with your assessment. Trouble is when you build a team do you build it thinking about riders getting injured? I don't think that you do. The Woffy injury really put us on the back foot before our season started, and mere fact that we look as though we will make the Play Offs is a bit of an achievement. As it stands I think we are looking at an Ipswich v Leicester Paly Off Final, which pains me to say for any neutrals would make a better final that had either us, Belle Vue or as a longshot Kings Lynn. -
First time seeing Vilads Nagel live last night, very impressive, looked fast all night, great style to go with it too

Lets hope not then

Left it far too late. If it wasn't for the slow start then KL would've caused Ipswich a whole load of problems along with Leicester in the play-offs.

The Team Management obviously felt that change was needed and would improve the team. Sedgie going was something that had to happen, he was not scoring the points needed, and the fact that Leon Flint is having a cracking season has bought him more time. I checked Sedgie's figures this season, on most occasions he has ridden at reserve and on 43% of occasions he has finished last in a race. A rider of Sedgie's experience and capabilities should be doing better It was time to give someone else a chance. The Nick Morris one does worry me, nearly two years out of competitive racing, added to fact I don't rate him and I am definitely not a fan of his. Nick Morris riding in your team for me is Troy Batchelor mark 2, you always run the risk he will let you down. But changes or no changes I resigned myself sometime ago to the fact that at best we will make it to Play Off's only. I think that providing they avoid each other in Semi Finals Ipswich and Leicester will contest the final. -
The worries fans had including my self pre-season regarding Sheffield's line-up unfortunately came true. One big injury to a big hitter and they were stuffed unless they struck gold with a GP rider making themselves available due to the team being too top heavy. Left throwing Darts at declining riders as well as a rider who's nowhere near race fit after a lengthy ban. Should've always been a choice between C. Holder and Woffinden for the No.5 berth with J. Holder & Pickering at No.1 & 3 respectively.

Viewed the heat 15 footage of the tapes fiasco and i don't think any other club would get away with that . Definitely the refs fault for not stopping it but the start Marshall should know better to do what he did.

Though tbf in an interview he did say you need to finish on a high average or a low one. So already has it in mind to look after his average.

Must win for Cheetahs if play off hopes are to remain. Two away wins needed from last 3 away meetings, not impossible if we can get most of our 1-7 riding. Even that might not be enough -

More he’s choosing not to ride than not being able to use him, should just give him a ban for withholding his services as that’s what he’s really doing. -

The reverting back to original line up might be possible, depending upon what the rules state. Seem to remember Ipswich some seasons, announce the dropping Sedgie and I believe Connor Mountain, only to find out that someone had got their sums wrong. They then had to bring back the two riders that they have dropped. I believe if Kerr and Sedgie were asked back and refused they would not receive a ban. -
Bandits welcome Oxford in a match they must win to have any remote chance of a playoff place. Althought the bonus point looks out of reach 2pts are much needed. Bandits are at full strenghth with Nick Morris replacing Craig Cook. For the Cheetahs they use r/r for Jordan Jenkins, with the new averages giving them a bonus of Sam Masters taken one of his rides. Jonathan Grahn guests for Francis Gusts with former Bandit Jonas Knudsen forming a powerful reserve pairing alongside Luke Killeen. Lovely sunny weather here in Berwick today hopefully plenty trackwork able to be done before todays footie. Looks like another close meeting so will go 48-42 tothe Bandits. Bandits: Nick Morris, Sam Hagon, Jonas Jeppesen, Drew Kemp, Peter Kildemand, Dayle Wood, Jack Smith Cheetahs: Sam Masters, R/R Jordan Jenkins, Jonatan Grahn, Mitch McDiarmid, Cameron Heeps, Luke Killeen, Jonas Knudsen
