or... just that last lap will do for starters š

He does seem to have an attitude issue and I really do think he comes across that well in the article. Oh well, hopefully he will learn and channel everything into mastering his craft.
-
He cares so much that he can often be found trailing round at the back aa mile off the pace or on the centre after 3 laps!

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams

What about rider costs, tuning, etc, surely this must be addressed to look at the vicious circle of the pursuit of speed which affects wages and drains clubs finances ? -
Without Doyle and the Russian, Ipswich will be pony this season. Gavan and the Witches fans will have given up by the time Wimbledon starts. The new bloke will be thinking this is a big mistake. Oh well thats speedway!
-
I know he did, I'm basing it off the Woffinden SpeedwayGP profile. If he's in like they say then Picko will be available. I like your team, Rock solid but Ellis is already doing 3 Leagues hence why I haven't included him in my team.

Pickering himself said the only club in the prem heād ride for is Sheffield. This is what I built: Brennan 7.05 Ellis 5.92 King 6.50 Rew 6.19 Musielak 6.63 Jenkins 4.50 Edwards RS 36.79
-
Kemp is the best rider available with the points remaining in my opinion.
-
Lynn's team is far superior to this Leicester team
-
Any takers? 1. J. Pickering 7.76 2. R. Tungate 5.89 3. T. Musielak 6.63 4. K. Rew 6.19 or C. Wright 6.11 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.98 / 36.90 1. T. Brennan 7.05 2. R. Tungate 5.89 3. N. Klindt 6.46 4. M. Zagar 6.46 5. T. Musielak 6.63 6. J. Jenkins 4.49 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.98

Good for Leicester getting Howarth back, another rider I can see increasing his average in 2026 in the āwatered downā Premiership. Think heāll be fine at either number 4 or at 2, think itāll be 4 so takes pressure off Thompson who can start at 2 getting the protected ht8
-
Damn me buggeries
-
It is said the way to winning is no last places and this Leicester team won't get many of those. I would think Drew at reserve would be a decent signing, yes he does have an attitude and get down on himself but he is a talented rider.

I think you're about to become disappointed, thenš¤„

As of the 2nd January he was leading the Argentinian championship on 76 points ahead of Albin on 74 and Zubillaga on 62.
-
haven't a clue what he's been up to š
-
In his interview in today's Speedway Star he has signed for a Premiership Club. He said to ride Championship he would have had to be at a Wednesday night club but was close to resigning for Berwick. PL average with reduction 4.72
-
In an article in the Star he says that he has signed for. Premiership club which will be announced at some stage but he is giving the Championship a miss. He also saidāI still let my temper get the best of me sometimes when Iām racing. Thatās a big issue that people have with me. I think people would be more annoyed if I didnāt care and thatās the thing, I think I care too muchā

Riders off different nationalities have ridden in the Argentinian championships for many years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentine_Individual_Speedway_Championship
-
Yes, he does, just. Interesting that he won't be starting the season with a Championship team place despite averaging over 8.0 at that level.

Nothing will change if they continue to let riders dictate the pay rates. -
In a copy of the star a few weeks ago there was also an interview with Jake Allen and he alluded to riders not being paid and it seemd he wasn't talking about the UK either he as going tofiscus on riding UK and championship only - not quite the vertabim quote but it was something like 'whats the point of riding being promised the earth and not being paid' - he talked of rider sbeing owed fair substantial sums Seems that TV money generally just goes straight to the riders and the big elite survive and the others struggle - its the same for so many sports!
